Social media is one the transformative changes which connected people throughout the world.
It emerged as the fastest platform to broadcast information in the present-day scenario.
It has various benefits like spreading knowledge content, encouraging creative thinking and for content creation.
But it also poses various challenges if not used ethically. Even though it connects people from far away, sometimes it results in a lack of emotional bonding with the people around us. Social media networking may also sometimes lead to cyber fraud. So it has both pros and cons. Hence, there should be strict regulatory guidelines to be followed.

It's a good platform when it used in a better way.

It's the best opportunity to develop career growth and to communicate easily with unknown people.

In my opinion, social media is better to use up to a certain limit.

Social media has a big impact on our daily lives. It helps people stay connected and share information quickly. It is useful for learning, communication, and entertainment.

However, it can also cause addiction and spread fake news. Therefore, we should use social media in a responsible way.

In my opinion, the social media platform is very useful to us, because we can use it, learn through it and connect with people also. We can connect to people where we can share the knowledge with each other, and also we can make very good relations with them, and we can share our opinion, and we can listen to their opinion by connecting with them. Connecting with them also helps our career growth. We can connect to people through platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, etc.

Connecting with them through these platforms makes our work so easy. Connecting with social media offers job purpose and other related purposes, making it very useful to us. So, in my point of view, social media makes a very good connection between people, which helps a lot.

Hello Everyone.

My name is Hrucha. I'm glad to have this opportunity.

Today's GD is based on the current scenario.

Yes, Social media is such a a great platform for connecting people. Using this, we can share our thoughts and ideas with others. We can also take their opinion. It is really good for personal development and career growth. Only we should know how to use it efficiently. It is a great platform for growing our business. We all know Mr. Ritesh Agarwal, founder of Zoho. He started his business at an early age. He uses social platforms to gain knowledge and connect with people.

Means that we can make something innovative.

During the COVID-19 situation, It plays a good role in connecting with people. That we are.

Unable to meet people. Overall, it's a good platform to connect with people.

Thank You.

Yes, that's true it is connecting people but at a very negative cost because human mind was never made to attains so much information of every topic or circumstances happening around you or all over the world which caused panic in the brain neither it is accomplishing all the information nor it is leaving out anything it's something messed up in between which is dangerous having an incomplete information. Earlier, when books, magazines, and television were available, people had limited information about their social life and particular topics.

They were interested in and the rest of the time they were invested in physical activities Sports but now due to the fare of missing out people are doing too much which is not even required for human existence at this point of time after the covid even children who didn't have proper education were handed mobile phone which made their mind more distorted at this point of time we need ASAP to make it mandatory to include education and development Psychology in the school so that these children mind can grow and accept the world beyond smartphone.

Yes, Social media is a platform that really connects people.

Social media is a platform that keeps us aware of what is happening around the world, keeps us up to date, and gives each of us a chance to share our opinions and keep our ideas in front of the world.

Social is a good platform for people with a purpose to deliver meaningful information, current happenings around the world without fabrication, for expanding small businesses, for content creators, international collaborations, learning new ideas, travelling to unpopular places, connecting people worldwide, connecting based on shared passions, and to share experiences.

Social media has its own advantages and disadvantages, especially for kids. Advantages like learning a concept explained in YouTube videos, gathering information for poster making. Disadvantages like it is easily accessible to young minds, and they are an easy target to be manipulated and distracted. This can result in behavioural changes, violence, impact social skills, body image, disturbed sleep due to overuse at night.

Good afternoon, everyone.

Myself KartikeySharma. I am very happy to have the opportunity to talk about this topic.

First of all, I want to say that in the living world, social media plays a vital role.

On one side, social media is connecting people. You can talk to someone across the globe in seconds, stay updated with friends, build professional networks, and even find communities that match your vibe. For small businesses, creators, and activists, it’s a powerful connection tool.

But at the same time, the connection can be kinda surface-level. Likes and comments don’t always mean real emotional bonding. People compare, fake perfection, and sometimes feel more isolated despite being “online” 24/7.

So yeah, social media connects people technically, but whether it builds meaningful relationships depends on how we use it.

Social media does connect people by breaking down geographical barriers, enabling instant communication, and fostering communities around shared interests, but the depth of these connections is often debated. While it helps maintain relationships and creates opportunities for collaboration, many of these ties can be superficial, shaped by algorithms that reinforce echo chambers and spread misinformation. At the same time, constant exposure to curated lives can lead to unhealthy comparisons and feelings of isolation. In essence, social media is a powerful tool for connection, but whether it truly brings people closer depends on how consciously and meaningfully it is used.
