Before the invention of social media people could only remember their old friends wondering how they might look like now. But now, after its invention people could see and reconnect with those they left behind long ago. Even I remember the happiness in my parents and grandparents' eyes when I could find their old friends on social media just by knowing their names. This platform is connecting people from all across the world. Likewise, it is helping mankind by spreading awareness, by spreading information of those who are in need, and by giving a platform to those who need it for the growth of their business.
But as is said every good thing comes with a price, it also becomes bitter when is excessively used. Its excessive use is making people live in the digital world and they are becoming distant from the people they are around in the real world. It is also making people depressed by making them feel worthless. Those who are addicted to social media are now living in a world of illusion. They are unable to differentiate between fake and reality.

Yes, in today's time, social media is connecting people. It is the simplest and easiest way to interact with people. It saves time and has replaced many traditional methods of communication. On social sites, people interact with each other and learn more about others with the way of interaction.

Hello everyone,
Social media is a platform, how a person uses it depends on it but in my point of it connects people from one state to another state also country to country. Also, there is a rapid growth in the uses of social media, through which they can connect peoples.
For example LinkedIn where millions of people connect through this there interest area where they can get opportunities. Most of them jobs through connecting with people from other states which was quite amazing. Also in my point of view, social media have a big impact on to connecting people.

Yes, we are connected through social media and we disconnected with people around us, we are spending more time on Instagram, facebook, games, staying in home becoming lazy and we stopped interaction with our family. We can't even know if the person in front of us is happy or not,
Social media interaction is for only some time and when people meet in-person and interact is different.
When people meet they can have more interaction then social media, they find many topics to discuss whereas in social media we just stop interacting after some time.
Social media interaction is good but we should spend time with family also.
And we should be on social media as much as required.

Yes, social media is connecting people. Today's generation uses this social media more. People who lost contact for years can be found through facebook, Instagram etc, and can connect with them. Through social we can meet many people, good ones can boost our confidence, and bad ones may create problems. So whatever happens to us we are only responsible. So We should be careful.

No doubt that social media is playing a very crucial role in getting in touch with people who have done something marvellous in this tech era, from whom we can get motivation and hence aspire to do something new and contribute to global development in a similar manner like them, but at the same time we also have to admit this harsh fact that it is the social media who are playing a sole role in bringing in depression, anxiety, dejection, self-doubt, loss of happiness so and so forth in today's youth, it is the social which is being used today to compare the lives of one with the lives of others that brings among us the so-called fearing of missing out, in this so-called social media era we the youth trying to highlight ourselves far then the reality that creates a gap between our expectation and the reality thus creating a sense of demotivation and dejection that ultimately led to the loss of happiness.

In the case on social media, we generally use a term named virtual, so it's our responsibility to in which ratio we give importance to our real and virtual relationships. Social media helps us a lot in setting connections, networking, gathering information, but in the end, these all are virtual and deserve full importance only, when they become real. Otherwise, these connections or relationships can lead us to fraud, cheating, and lots of other cybercrimes.
We can set a connection or relation with people through social but can't ignore the benefits of person-to-person socializing, and engagement in different outdoor activities. Yes, social media is connecting people but all these connections bear meaning when they get converted from virtual to real. So, in the end, it's our responsibility to convert our virtual connections and relationships into real ones, only then we can get the proper benefit of social media.

Yes, social media connects people without any doubt. Now we can talk, chat, or video call with the people we want to. There are many useful characteristics of social media. But we also can not ignore the demerits of social media. Scammers create fake identities to scam innocent people. In this AI era, it's very easy to pretend someone else and fool people. Even though we can not say that social media is not good. It's a universal fact that everything has its own merits and demerits. And if we think about the facilities social media gives us, then we can not deny that social media have changed our lives. Social media is now a part of our daily life.
