Is India a Soft Nation?

Every coin has two aspects so does the softness of India have two aspects!

Positive aspect:

Why India is called as a soft nation?

1) India is the largest democracy in the world and many people live together in terms of caste, religion and belief and also because the diversification we have.
2) Everyone has a fundamental right to do what they want.
3) India never indulged on war with other countries and solve many serious problems without violence.
4) India is such a great nation even terrorist in jails are treated as a guest, serving chicken, biryani and proving as "Athithi Devo Bhava".
5) Maintain good relationships with other countries.

NEGATIVE ASPECT:

Why India is called as a hard nation?

1) Reservation policy in the education system and government jobs.
2) Corruption issue.
3) Bad education facilities in villages even in some city.
4) Three digit figure nos. Of girls rapped in a year.

Hi all, India should say it loud and clear so the world would know, say yes I'm scared yes I'm a coward nation yes I try to pretend I'm not scared and using nonviolence as a hideout, say yes I'm terrified of CHINA, every time something bad happens to China India is happy in its hideout like a RAT, SAY yes INDIA is scared of Pakistan, say yes India tremble with fear when Pakistan mujahideen and the Rangers comes across the borders as going at a grocery stores, say yes Pakistan armies and mujaheddin got courage that India don't have to cross the border and have fun, say yes India is still behind in term of dressing and militarily well-equipped, so here you go, no need for China just Pakistan is enough to finish off India, India tried to play the good kid destroy all its chemical weapons and not building enough atom, while Pakistan said fuck you and build plenty yet still the world are afraid of Pakistan can't do much.

My thoughts on the topic "Is India a soft nation?" is that yes, it is India is a soft nation and it will be turning softer and softer day by day and year by year under our respected Prime Minister Shri. Narendraji modi.

What softness means actually?

Softness in sitting quiet while the terrorist attack on us?, softness in passing comments rather than starting a change?, No not at all.

Its all about having a peaceful India, Where the oldies get respect, Womens should be empowered. Engineers should get jobs in MNCs, Every poor child has the right to study and take a stand in the society.

And of course "A CLEAN INDIA".

Clean in environment. Clean in politics, Clean in taking decisions, may it be in high court, supreme court or in political decisions.

INDIA IS A SOFT NATION.

The heart of the peoples are so helpful, so decent that makes us feel proud to be the citizen of India.

Yes I AM AN INDIAN.

Yes, we definitely considered India is a soft nation than others. It is just because we do not believe in violence we believe that every solution can be solved by peace and talks. So many examples like we also give a chance to prove his innocent as well as a terrorist to save his life before death. It is our moral values and ethical values that we do not believe in violence since from ancient and very long period. If someone (Pakistan Taliban) thinks that India is kind hearted and soft and they can do whatever they want to create violence in our nation. It is their mistake because we are soft by nature but for our motherland, we can give an appropriate answer to enemy surgical strike on Pakistan is an example of this. Our Indian philosophy believes that we should go on developing rather than to deal with unnecessary issues. First development than common issues and problems live and let the other life peacefully.

I think any country is soft or hard is decided by the their peoples democrat and rule to punish a culprit. India is not a soft not hard, it is a notion of corrupted people & politicians.

1 - In case of Yakub Memon who involved in Mumbai blast every politician try to make his political profit by supporting Yakub Memon Yachika. No body thinks about the damage of country by this blast.

2 - If a common men goes in any government office then no officer do the work without any bribe.

3 - I think punishment for crime in India is only for a common men. Because in this country a celebrity and politician never get punishment for their crime they do.

Due to the all above reasons I think that it is a corrupted country, efforts are made to reduce the corruption. But I think it is not possible because we have political parties who are thought for their own party and interest, they do not think about the country.

India is soft for its people but hard against enemies. India is providing good facilities to its citizens and the needy one by giving opportunities to grow. Many of programs and schemes have been launched by our government for the person in need like Vaya Vandhana for old people, Nibhaya fund for safety and security of the women, Poshan Abhiyan for the children's nutrition and many more. As there are to sides of a coin, there are also some factors which are affecting the India's progress like people who are not concerned about the nation's progress and spreading negativity in the society. India should be harder against those bastards and teach them a lesson so would think hundred times before doing any crime. So, I conclude in the way that India is hard as well as soft but it should be more tough and hard against criminals and national threat while should be soft and helpful towards its citizens.

From my point of view,

India is not only a soft country but its hard too.

Why is India hard?
1 lots of crime is being happened daily
2 dowry system
3 lack of educational facilities in the village
4 1000 of girls are being raped
5 corruption is the biggest issue in India
6 reservation policy

Why is India soft?

1 unity in diversity
despite various languages, culture, festival all live together in peace and harmony
2 we have fundamental rights
everyone can do whatever they want
3 maintain good relations with other countries
4 politician present budget every year in order to solve the problem of general people.

So we cannot say that India is a soft nation or hard Nation.

Govt steps like make in India, and demonisation has benefited to many but some find problem due to that. so if we are satisfied with our nation we consider it soft.

After reading all the opinions, I think everyone has their own stand on this. But according to my knowledge India is a soft as well as a hard nation.

Soft because India is a sacrificing and tolerating country. When we see our history there are many intelligent minds who fought for our country and sacrificed their lives for the Indian freedom. On the other side India maintains the peace with all the countries, it welcomes all the foreigners, receives them as a guest people in India has a great family relationships.

While coming to hard, there are some of the social evils which are still making India as a developing country like dowry system, caste system, corruption in all sectors. Women domination etc. India becomes a perfect nation when Indian citizens know their responsibilities, when they come out of these social evils.

No, according to me it will be wrong to say that India is a soft nation, actually all these depends on the political will which reflect view of the nation but as overall we can't say that India is a soft nation. When it comes to give the reply to terrorism or cease fire violation we will no longer remain the soft nation, so according to me though India doesn't start the violations but while giving the replies to their enemies it is not soft nation.

We can see the war of India Pakistan in 1965, evolution of Bangladesh in 1971, Kargil war etc, and and coming to the internal matters it's Judicary take all the necessary action to give the justice to each we saw the cases of Suresh Kalmadi, Asaram Bapu, Yaakub Menon instead of their caste, racism, religion judgement comes, so saying saying India is soft nation will not be justifiable.
