Hello Friends.
India is a soft nation because it has helped many countries specially Pakistan. India is trying to avoid war but some countries are poking us again and again. India can be friendly to all countries and by this, we can be 'one'.

Hello friends,
According to my point of view, India is a soft nation, we maintain a good relationship with other countries and we allow the people with different cultures, religious and languages depends up on their own interest and also provide equal rights to all, it makes people feel comfortable on their own way. Our constitution it self-reflect the soft nature of our nation, but in some aspect this soft nature increases the crime rate in our country, so to decrease the crime rate and increase the peace in our country we are hard to implement the rules strictly to make our nation safest in the world.

Hi everyone,
I think India is a soft Nation because we see that in India everyone is emotionally attached. If you go in any part of India then you will find everyone is friendly and Helpful. Indian people are sensitive all they want is, peace. They don't want war with any country. India is known for the lovable country. In India there live people from different culture and religions like Hindu, Muslims, Sikh, Buddhist, Isaiah, Nepalis. India has a good relation with foreign countries. India is a kind and soft nation.
Thank you!

Yes. India is truly a soft nation. The nation having not any particular religion, or we can say all religions are given the same importance and also traditionally and culturally soft as all peoples uniquely celebrate all festivals with joy and happiness. On the other hand soft heart people unites to form soft nation. All the peoples are Everytime ready to help each other. Our nation being soft-hearted always helps it's neighbour countries whenever they are in problems and also want peace with its neighbouring countries. This all shows softness of India.

This is the ridiculous question I have ever seen because it does not define what a soft nation is. Is it a land of soft soil instead of rocky terrain like Japan? Then, yes it's very soft.
In my opinion, softness is not a desirable quality of a country or a civilization. Hardness - meaning determination, discipline, organization, achievement, self-defense, for example - is much better. By that standard, the original Hindu India was not hard, it was soft; that's why everyone from Alexander to Clive manipulated and conquered us, and the Muslims and the Brits became our masters. That is disgraceful for a land of heroes from Rama, who destroyed an evil king despite a severe lack of resources, Hanuman, who never met an obstacle he couldn't conquer, and Krishna, who led Arjun into battle against his own people because they were corrupt, to Guru Gobind Singh who turned the tide against Mughals. India ought not to be a weak country; it ought to be strong. Indeed it is getting stronger.
Despite India's underdeveloped countryside and stuck-in-time cities, it has gone to the Moon and Mars and it has made great progress in agriculture, manufacturing, IT and services. A soft or weak country can't do all that. India is a country of hard, strong, irrepressible people, but it's run by self-centered, extremely corrupt and lazy politicians, and their sons and (sometimes) daughters. It is dynastic rule that is killing India. It's political drama that keeps Indians in India shackled, while Indians in foreign countries move so fast that they leave other foreigners - as well as the natives - behind.
In summary, India is not, and should not be a soft i.e. weak country. Its people are determined and resourceful. Its leaders to date have been selfish and corrupt, but that is now changing. It is to be hoped that India's political leadership will allow Indians to achieve their potential.

As per my view, I can put India in soft nation category. In India, everyone has right to follow their own culture, their own religion, their own languages etc. If you move around your nearest where ever you are living currently then you'll get that after some distance only languages are changing, cultures are changing and so many things keep on changing but there is no any clash among them. All are happy with their living standard. Yes, there is always some exceptional case but it is not enough to defeat the tag of soft nation.

First of all, we need to define the meaning of softness. Softness means the capability to forgive someone for their mistakes and allow everyone to do what they want in this condition yes India is a soft country but we should remove this softness for the fast growth of the country. We have a tendency to forgive some extream mistakes made by our neighbour countries and our political leaders who are corrupted and we also have the tendency to fight election of the religious topics and all the happening freely in our country so that means we are a soft country.

India is a rich diversity of religions, cultures and above on those lies the ultimate respect for everyone. Indian system is designed so by taking in mind the faiths of various cultures and people. Our Country is rich in all these aspects which make it diverse and different from others.
Laws and Acts in our country are passed by taking in mind the sentiments of peoples attached to it. Every decision in India is taken on the aspects of each and every people.
Thus, India is classified as a soft nation.

Yes, I agree with this statement. India is a soft nation. So many criminal activities are going around society. Law is not punishing them for that crime. Eg. : Delhi rape case, public harassment of women.
Indian law should implement some hard rules as punishment. So that at least for few the law will be useful.
So, I conclude by saying India is a soft nation.
