Yes, Because with the implementation of GST all the other indirect taxes have been removed. GST is a combination of all the indirect taxes. Due to GST, tax cannot be charged at all the stages through which a product or service passes from manufacturer to the customer. Tax is charged only once. The main reason of implementing GST was to make nation tax compliant by charging only one tax instead of multiple. Though the direct taxes have to be paid but it has become easier to pay taxes now after implementation of GST though initially it was difficult for people to understand it.

Gst is an indirect tax towards goods and services levied in India. The levied tax is paid not only towards goods but also refunded to the production and supply other than former consumer. It is paid in five types of slabs they are 0%, 5%, 12, 18, &28%. It is paid in terms of pregst and past gst. Pre- Gst is paid up to 18%& past -Gst is paid up to 26- 28%. Except petroleum, electricity and gas are not considered under gst but it is can be continued as regular tax.

When you think about just Gst is a publicity of government you are not wrong or may be right but when you have seen your credit bill in which a lot of slab of taxs involve and what will be say about the CGST, SGST, IGST what is dram. And why Petrol and Diesel are not included in GST slab, this is not come in our one nation. If these items are buying this nation so included in Gst slab. Otherwise, stop these slogans one tax one nation and say one nation, according to running government our tax.

GST, it is a very good intiative taken by the government. It is applied to simplify the taxation process by replacing many taxes such as service, central excise tax, etc. Calling gst as 'one nation one tax' may not be right yet because there are multiple tax rates. According to world bank, India's gst is the most complex gst in the world.

In my point of view, GST is good as well as bad depending on the level or part of the people we are talking.
It is implemented in different ways as CGST and SGST. Good in the way that every one have to pay tax. Their is transparency in taxation system. Tax revenue increases and much more.
Definitely, these points help the country to grow.
But the other part also for the Petrol and alcohol. Why it not come under GST.
It will benefit if they both come under GST.
If we talk about small shops which are shutdown. But if they get registered it benefits both country as well as them.

According to me, yes GST is really a one nation one tax system. GST has subsumed so many taxes and became similar tax structure for different states to put all states in one basket. It has made easier for traders to do business easily. GST also help in increase the tax collection.

Yes, Gst is the symbol of cooperative federalism, meaning "ONE NATION, ONE TAX SYSTEM".
As when we compare the two periods pre-Gst and post-Gst, we can see that Gst has subsumed most of the indirect taxes, making the tax system more transparent and easy to understand.
So, Gst is the move in a correct direction, although there are many problems which has been faced and which are yet to be faced in order to make this initiative a successful journey.

Hello, everyone.
In my point of view, Every coin has to face same here GST has Central GST AND State GST.
As GST stands for goods and service tax.
After 2014 GST is one of them. Major step took by the government. It helps in raising the Economy of the country as mostly everything comes under GST. Before GST in some states people have to pay to much tax but after GST is applied everyone have to pay an equal amount of money which results in a good amount of money is collected by the government As we know that in GST products are divided into 5 phases 0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 28 according to the category of the products.

In my point of view, GST system is good for our country. We daily hear in news about corruption. It's not good for our country. Every state has own different -2 type taxes impose. Our current govt take initiative for one country, one Tax. It's take good decision by our Prime Minister. GST result we can see after from one to two years. It would be given fruitful result for India. And our India will be reached on top 10 development countries.
