Is Dependence on Computers a Good Thing?

I think the use of computer is good but at a limit but computer have many benefits just like it saves the tree because we all know that paper is formed by trees and computer reduce the use of paper and 2 it save our time just like a very hard calculation we want to do and we take 5 or 10min to do that calculation whereas computer take few second.

At last, I want to say that just like coin has two side head and tail just like computer have two side merit and demerits.

Having read the immense and elaborate views of my friends who have shared their points in the discussion forum, I dare say that we cannot get rid of the computer use. This has become part and parcel of every man's life, I mean the educated one. As I foresee, a day will come, we will become handicap, we perhaps would not be able to do anything without it. If by chance something happens in the atmosphere or some unknown natural calamity occurs, this, then will affect the entire system of wireless communication like the Net. My question is that what will we do or the whole world do at that time if all the computers fail functioning. Has man ever thought of it, Yes, of course our progress will be 'stand still'. It is better, we start thinking for the future, to solve the enigmatic problem.

Hi. Dependence on computer is good thing because at present entire world is computerized and using computers we can gain much more. We can know about latest updates and technologies and many more the only drawback with computers is children are addicting to it very much it is also a kind of better thing but only to some extend so computer usage is good thing:-) :-).

Computer is a good things because it fastest to access any information. So many technique are involved in the system. Now a days all are dependent on it. We can you get more knowledge from computer.

Would you like to depend on anything. By my point of view no we should not depend on anything. While doing any mathematical manipulation we use the computer but it is not right as we know the computer is also being made by us the humans by Charles Babbage. It decreases the outdoor activities like playing, reading books, etc. As the dependent on computers can harm the studies. Your father works hard everyday and income money for reading, studying but you play computer games, chatting with friends as you are wasting money of your father. It also decreases the eyesight of us. We are becoming lazy, lathergic and dependable.

So we should not depend on the computer fully only just a moment using it.

In my point of view, in this fast changing world. Whether we like are not we need to depend on machines and computers are among them. Computers have been very useful in many sectors like banking, IT sector and even education system. Due to computers, we are able to complete many works very fast. Yes, there have been few disadvantages but computers have become essential part of human development.

It is not important to totally depend on computer. Due to excessive use of technology we lost our memory power also. There should be limit in use of technology.

We are living in an electronic era. We are all dependent on computers in one way or another.

People, Especially children get addicted to computers and skip outdoor activities for games on computers. This affects their social skills and emotional balance. Computer hackers steal account numbers and transfer money through the account.

However, The pros far out do the cons and I feel that if the computer is put into positive use it can be a very useful slave.

I am Akash Nigam. As, I think Depending on computers have its own pro and cons. Using its as a utility thrive the men kind to a different level for attaining knowledge but totally dependency always lead to the abstraction or to lead to the specialized spot where we only use luxury given by computer automation. Don't know about how we are getting commodities. Like many children in a foreign country don't know where they are getting their foods they know there is a place called supermarket from which provide them food.

Nowadays computer is getting user-friendly which is a good thing but attaining something without any struggle is bad too. This is only the bad thing that computers can do " takeover many things through automation". Some words but taking jobs of many people.

At the good side of it help every person to have time to keep the focus on its things that they like. If we take this automation to everyday life. Then people no need to worry about daily life struggle be open minded to implement new things. So I think yes to depend on computers for good things.

My opinion says yes it is good to depend on computer because this marvelous gift of science has made our life very advanced compared to earlier days. It reduces human effort and saves time too. When the matter comes to communication, there too it has a great novel deed.

Yes it has some bad effects too like over dependence on computer can be harmful in building our mind properly because there would be a less chance of exposing ourselves to nature, natural things etc. Besides it can have an affect on our health too since there is a chance of people become lazy.

So in conclusion I'll say 'excess for anything is dangerous'. So use it only that much.
