Good morning. I think dependence on computer is good only to some extent. We can use the computer for distant education, online booking, searching for which we want to know. There are even many others things that add up for disadvantages. Nowadays youths are busy on many social networking sites neglecting their studies and even wasting money on online shopping. If we had to buy things we must use some means of transportation, take so much of time and energy, by this we buy only the things which we need. But by online shopping, we use less time and energy and unknowingly we get addicted to that. We don't even know that we are even buying some useless things. We are even becoming lazy to go out buy things and book tickets. So I want to tell that people must be given awareness about dependence on the computer.

Having read the immense and elaborate views of my friends who have shared their points in the discussion forum, I dare say that we cannot get rid of the computer use. This has become part and parcel of every man's life, I mean the educated one. As I foresee, a day will come, we will become handicap, we perhaps would not be able to do anything without it. If by chance something happens in the atmosphere or some unknown natural calamity occurs, this, then will affect the entire system of wireless communication like the Net. My question is that what will we do or the whole world do at that time if all the computers fail functioning. Has man ever thought of it, Yes, of course our progress will be 'stand still'. It is better, we start thinking for the future, to solve the enigmatic problem.

Yes, of course.

Depending on Computers (including all computing devices) is the only way to be surview in the current trend. Computers are not making us as lazy, we want things to be done faster, so we invent a device to do that job faster. We feel good while the tasks are completed with the computers (with minimum amount of our manual work).

Your are reading this line because of this computer or any smart device, we are sharing ideas, we learn faster.

Practically computers can't be used for everything. We invent it, we test it, we believe it. Finally we are being depending on what we made to do our task.

Therefore, it is good to be depend on computers.

Note: If you want to be lazy, even though there is no computer, you will be lazy.

There is nothing in this world today which comes with all its qualities. Every aspect of life offers it to you its best and its worst. Sea is common for all but some takes pearls out of it and some just get out with wet legs.

Similarly internet is offering us the world, which is beyond any one's reach without the possible use of it. I agree few of its consequences mentioned above cannot be ignored. But we cannot even miss out on it's advantages which are fortunately more in number and uses. We all are rational human beings and take our decisions wisely. This there is a need that we keep our actions under check and avoid negative consequences of the technology and makes the best possible use of it for society's betterment.

Thank you :).

In offices computers are playing an important role for storing data and to retrieve it later. Even in ready made showrooms and departmental stores computers are used for billing section. Even to speak with my relatives abroad its possible face to face talk through yahoo messenger etc. We can even send letters through email in no time. We can access search engines like Google to get more information from all over the world. Even we can do shopping in online and we can make payments in online itself. We can book railway tickets online 120 days prior thus helping us like a friend and the teacher. There are some negative effects which is present even now like porn etc. Thus please access the computer for good things.

Well I don't think that dependence on computers is a good thing.

First of all it has made people lethargic. Other factors include that if you sit in front of PCs for too long it affects your eyesight. Also, each work comes to a halt if light goes off or there is some defect with the machine. It can also cause some serious problems if it is malfunctioning.

I can't deny the positive effects of computer but everything in this world needs a limit & in present scenario people are so much addicted to it that they can't live a day without it, which is really dangerous. So in the end I would like to conclude by saying that too much dependence on anything is dangerous & must be resolved as soon as possible.

Hello friends I think now a days computer becomes more friendly with us and we also can say that computer become our best friend. Because the exception of the we can't spend our any day because this is very helpful for our work also entertain us with playing games and also save our all details store in its database, and also store all files and calculate all the problems in ms just because its very powerful and easy to operate. Its increase our knowledge like we learn about operating system, and database, audio and video file also. So I think its boon for us people.

But there is disadvantage also that if we spend so much time with our computer so its harmful with us and its become like drugs for us people.

Hi everyone,

In my opinion, I don't think depending computers is a huge issue.

Human beings can't live without technology. For each and everything, we depend upon technology. The best example is our mobile phones. If we are depending a lot on mobile phones then why can't we depend on computers?

Computers are one of the greatest technology that human being ever invented.

With the help of computers, we can do our work more effectively and efficiently in a faster way.

For watching movies, news, videos and to send mail computer is essential. For making a simple presentation itself we need computers.

It is easy to blame technology but it is impossible for everyone to live a day without using technology.

Would you like to depend on anything. By my point of view no we should not depend on anything. While doing any mathematical manipulation we use the computer but it is not right as we know the computer is also being made by us the humans by Charles Babbage. It decreases the outdoor activities like playing, reading books, etc. As the dependent on computers can harm the studies. Your father works hard everyday and income money for reading, studying but you play computer games, chatting with friends as you are wasting money of your father. It also decreases the eyesight of us. We are becoming lazy, lathergic and dependable.

So we should not depend on the computer fully only just a moment using it.

Hi friends,

We can easily store and retrieve data without much risk. We can store a lot of information and we can keep authorized access too. We are sharing innovations between countries because of computers and internet. The world is developed faster because of computers. Computers save a lot of time and money. Because of computers and internet one can take any course in any institute through e-learning books are digitized and more convenient to carry.

We can solve complicated problems of maths in just a few seconds. We can easily create documents effectively. We can make effective presentation to explain a topic. Every coin has two sides. It's up to us to receive good and to leave bad.
