In my opinion, the rule of compulsory attendance should not be implemented. It actually led the student to develop reluctance and feeling pressurized. Today's world requires a smart and creative individual. To fulfil today's world's needs and to grow their skill sets, individual needs to give time to themselves so that they can identify their potential and desires.
Field of interest and do the necessary hard work in that direction. Colleges and universities should realize this situation and set students free on this thing. The best thing, they can set a minimum desired attendance rule that should be fulfilled by the students instead of the compulsory attendance rule.

In my point of view, attendance should be made compulsory but up to a certain limit.
Obviously, the outside world looks fascinating and would tempt anyone to bunk the lectures and have fun around. Studying books sitting at home can never equate the overall development of a student that happens when he goes to college.
One gets to learn to respect the differences among people with different backgrounds, how to behave in a team, walk and talk, follow rules and regulations that one cannot expect to learn within a day when joins any corporate sector.
Bunking of college hinders the overall personality development and thus minimum criteria should be made mandatory.

Yes, attendance must be needed. Because if attendance is not taken into consideration, students take it as an advantage. Only interested students will attend the classes. Most of the students attend the classes for attendance. Students mentality should be in such a way that if he miss a class, he is going to miss something so important lecture. So, it's a teacher responsibility to give their lectures in an interesting way, so that every student attend the classes with great interest, concentration. So, teacher's must Interact with the students to induce curiosity, motivate, and provoke thinking, imagination and application of the concept taught.

Absolutely It should be compulsory.
Because First, it makes us.
1) a punctual with daily scheduled. Which helps in the future word.
2) Then maximum students try to attend whole class whereby students get benefits of the study.
3) It makes us hard worker, interaction with students, teachers.
4) It teaches us management of time.
Although if facilities of that college are not in teaching then we should join coaching and give more time in coaching then college attendance doesn't matter in our future making plan. Because our purpose to join any study Institute is get knowledge and facilities are not helping then You should think about this point.

In my opinion, 100% attendance should not be compulsory in college. College time is the time when a student learn practical knowledge with academic knowledge. 100% attendance compulsory means the student gets only theoretical knowledge like in school. The students will not get any opportunity to do any extra curricular activity. In most the college they do not have smart class. There is no difference between school and college in teaching learning process. It becomes very difficult to gain a practical concept by only attending lecture. So there should be some extra time to attend internship for students. Hence 60% attendance can be mandatory.

Hi friends, according to me attendance in college is need but not compulsory. Some student comes college only for attendance because they know that base of attendance they got a good national Mark's so they got good percentage. I think student comes college not only for attendance but they come college for gain knowledge, learn that how to present yourself in front of the world. So my point of view attendance is necessary but not compulsory. We all know the respected "APJ Abdul Kalam" and their attendance in college is not so much I don't state that they never go to college they go to college but only gain knowledge, not for only attendance.

According to my point of view, the attendance in college are compulsory but not 100% at least 50 to 60%.
The main reason behind that'.
If we attend 50 to 60% college atleast we have some theoretical as well as some practical knowledge and now days practical knowlege is more importent to survive in any organization or industry.
That is very helpful for our upcoming future.
But if we do not attend the classes and lab then we have not any practical knowledge.
We can pass the university exam by study through the internet and many materials available in the market only to pass the exam.
BUT.
By this we can get only degree NOT a good job.

Hi guys.
I think it is compulsory but not at all. Because as a student everyone should have their own rights to enjoy their life. We can enjoy our life as a student only. If it is restricted 75% attendance is compulsory, many poor students were not able to attend. Due to their family problems, they are unable to attend. But no one can reach their goals without attending to college. So don't neglect this. As an alternate 60% should enough for engineering life. Not only for engineering but also for every field. I mainly focused on engineering why because I'm an engineering student.
Have an average attendance. It's enough for our life re.

Hello friends,
In my opinion, the attendance should not really be needed in college because in every class some disturbing elements (persons) are there and they are sitting in class for only an attendance, not gaining a knowledge and these persons create an unusual environment for studying in class.
And in between us some students are interested in doing for sports and other cultural activities, so they are not attending a more lecture. And some students are special and they are doing self-study and not attends lectures. In that cases, students are deward and eligible for back examination.
So attendance are not compulsory in colleges.

Yes, Education should be the first and foremost important thing in a student's life. To achieve this thing one should attend the classes daily and a minimum percent attendance must be compulsory for all so as to ensure that a student doesn't bunk the classes. Students who don't attend the classes are either lazy to wake up early in the morning or are going to somewhere else instead of attending the classes. Laziness kills oneself. If a student concentrates in his/her classes then he/she wouldn't face any problem in understanding the concept of any subject. Moreover he can recollect very quickly when he/she is going though the notes.
