Yes.
By my point of view, attendance should be maintained, but it should be up to the mark, not force full declaration to the students must attend class without their interest, As I wish if lecturer is at interesting way of teaching the student to sit then it makes some meaning, otherwise with bored teaching leads to student thinks others, simply time wasting and get demotivate on that subject.
For sake of know little bit of computational world, leadership and knowledge about their subject he/she should maintain minimum attendance.
Over view, the thinking capacity of person will increase be learned through by some tutorials, and by own, it makes to think and innovate something new to the world.
Thank you.

Hello everyone,
As per my opinion,
1) I think attendance is not important too much because in our country most of college teaches students the syllabus and it is not enough to crack any FANG companies or even others.
2) If attendance will be necessary the student can't groom in class it is a harsh reality. Until and unless anyone starts devoting time to themself. Because coding competitions are not there in every college so students only have good academics but not applicable skills (any programming language).
3) Any student who gives time to themself then they can't do both things properly.
4) I think it should be that much necessary that no students get bad marks in any subject of their academics.

Hi,
I think attendance should be compulsory because by attending the class daily student aware about the subject, the content of the subject. Student who do not attend the class daily even don't know what are the names of subjects in this semester. As a student, I experienced sometimes what happens, in the morning of our sessional day my classmates call me and ask " hi listen, tell me one thing which subject test is today?". Now we can estimate that what they will write in test paper. So I think attendance must be compulsory. By this the student who was not interested in studies at least they come to class and about the subject and the money spent by their parents on their study it will little worth.

As per my opinion if I go within positive direction of this topic attendance should be compulsory in colleges but there are two factors most of the colleges bounded the student by some rules and regulations 75% attendance is mandatory for every student but in actual condition, it is fair or not, little bit thing about this it may seem like the only foundation to the student because if the college doesn't give such environment which they actually required for the students then it is not good for any student, it seems like only time waste also not beneficial for self-study purpose. If college gives that environment which are important for study purpose then attendance should be a minority for students.

According to me, attendance in college should not be made mandatory because I think knowledge can't be gained just by having good attendance. You may be physically present in the class just for maintaining attendance and getting saved from being detained in sessional. This type of attitude is not good. Students should maintain attendance only in those lectures in which they have interest. This will increase the level of quality education in students. Apart from that as my friends are saying that having good attendance shows you are disciplined, then I must tell them that discipline cannot be taught or judged on these minor basis. A person learns discipline from the ups and downs of his/her life.

Yes, definitely if the attendance will not compulsory in colleges then the level of knowledge will degrading day by day because if the attendance is not necessary why student will go in college regularly and if they don't go then they can't able to clear semester with good marks and all these not happen they will not placed in any company and will unemployment rate will highly increase and none of the MNC will come to our college or our country to give jobs because knowledge level is zero then why they will come to waste their time and In this way our youth will be unemployed and having zero level of knowledge what will do just we do labour type work. So, attendance really needed in college.

Hello everyone!
In my point of view, compulsory attendance in college makes no sense. It shows that in college level too we are not getting practical knowledge. We are still fully focused on academics knowledge and not facing practicality.
Instead of compulsion in regular attendance, there should be an attendance criteria/limit which should be fulfilled by each and every student. In college time, every student has their different perspectives and goals so there should be some sort of freedom so that they can explore themselves. Many students start various internships, training and startups during college. So according to me, there should not be a compulsion of attendance in college.

Hi, everyone. According to my point of view, it is necessary to take attendance in college. Because it helps students to know the importance of time management, discipline, punctuality etc. We must know its importance. After getting graduated from a college most of the students opt to go for a job rather than further studies. At that time wherever they need to work, they have to be in time at work and need to mark their attendance before the prescribed time at the workplace. Otherwise, it will be a loss of pay. So if they learn to do those things in their college days itself it will not become a problem for them. So personally, I prefer that attendance must be followed in college.

When it comes to college, it is filled with students who are pre-adult viz. 18 to 25 years old so basically they recently had a load or thought of responsibility and more importantly its life, the adult independent life which gets sucked by attendance.
It's time to make a right decision and a college student can make their own so attendance just seems like a forceful law that sucks our independent.
And it's not the attendance that matter it's the students head and skills which they can develop through any means, so literally we are here for that fucking degree we always dreamt of and we have paid authority more than enough for that piece of paper so just leave us on our own.

Hi everyone, in my sight, there should be no rule for attendance in colleges because in India most of the people are from the poor family background. Like that people they don't have enough money for doing anything, at that time they would like to do jobs means part-time jobs, sometimes it'ii turns into a full-day then assume that what happened, they can't reach to college. So automatically their percentage of attendance will be reduced. What I'm saying is the most talented persons on this planet like Newton, Einstein, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg etc. , they also didn't go to colleges/schools properly, but they became as successful people. REMEMBER THAT. Thank you.
