Thinking is never a waste of time and when it comes to our economical matters, it certainly isn't because it involves the future path that the nation would be walking very soon. Be it FDI in Retail or Nationalisation decades ago, India has always been slower in making decisions but better late than never because a nation can't just accept any new move just because another nation has progressed from it, lot of thinking needs to be done to analyse if its really going to work for our nation or not.

Yes I agree with this concerned topic in our economic matter, when we talk about our policies and norms then it reflect very honest with high thinking but in implementation phase it entangles with corruption and not reach to our local public. Once Rajiv Ghandhi said that if in case of one rupee, only 25 paisa goes to the local public even then it will create good development opportunity but unfortunately it dose not happen. So we have to work strongly on implementation phase.

Yes, there is always a sort of delay in the implementation of the plans and unfortunately this has become natural characteristic of Indian politicians. For the boosting of Indian economy and to strengthen Indian rupee we do need to increase Export and decrease import and thus controlling deficit and for that there should be more production but there is always a delay in development plans. There is delay in infrastructure development, approval of new business policies and punishing those who are found guilty for violating the policies.

HI,
There is no doubt that India produce great intellectual in all over word. According to me, thinking or planning is a good things but only thinking rather then doing, it is useless.
So much thinking create confusion.

The problem with our countrymen is we give a lot of importance in understanding things but not so much for implementing what we have understood. Here the situation is like these because in India its very common and an strategy of politicians that at the time of election they all made promises related to make progress in various fields including economy but after the elections they forget their promises and also they don't know how to implement their own promises.

In my opinion, planning is necessary for doing every work. And planning is nothing but a "thinking before doing". Without planning if we want to implement any thing, the things will be messy. So at first we should think about our goal and after that we should implement it. So our work will be reflected by better thinking. But we should remember one thing that thinking must be related in our country's development not only the personal needs.

Look guys i strongly believe that government is the one which behaves this way.. They just know promises they don't know the meaning of the word IMPLEMENTATION.... They just know to keep people on wrong faith.
This is the reason that in our country promises are made like anything but after some time there is nobody to implement those plans..........

India is a very large and diverse country. There are areas which are BPL and then there are SEZ areas. There are rich Industrial areas in one part and agriculture areas in another. Developing an economic policy for the whole country in keeping in mind the different regions is very difficult and requires careful planning so that no one 'feels' neglected. The policy also takes time to be implemented and it has to be passed down from top to bottom in hierarchy in the government. Having said that, I do believe that the government can improve the speed of the implementation. Navjot Singh Sidhu would have said this- 'business is like the English weather, it can change at any time of the day' (he hasn't said that, but there is no stopping him). Sometimes the policy is too old for the environment and its back to square one. Thus our ministers should take heed with that.

I think there is more of thinking rather than taking up action in our Indian economy due excess of ideas popping up from both the parties in politics or either in any organizations. If one of them agrees the other opposes it. Hence to implement the idea it takes longer time than other nations.
