Hi friends, I am Jagadish.

I wants to express my own view on this gd topic. In my view foreign TV channels are not destroying our culture but it improve our knowledge on the various factors. When we see the channel like historical channel, discovery, BBC, etc. We gets a lot of knowledge basically on English. We gets new knowledge from historical channels, as we gets chances to see many new places, specially the historical places.

We develops our English power when we hear their speaking style, their pronunciation, tone, etc. We also gets a lot of scientific knowledge from foreign channel. It is also developed our general knowledge. Though it has bad effects but it is totally depends on us what to see and what not to see.

So in my view we should except the right thing and left the evil side, so that it will be better for us in future.

Thanks you.

Dear friend,

I would like to say that actually I had take part in debate competition and my topic is ''Is really television spoiling our Indian culture and I'm in the against of the motion. Apart of this I have to say that the television is the great medium for education and other useful learning stuff but we cannot ignore the dark side of television, the young generation were spoiling their knowledge toward the reality of world and were living in the world of imaginations.

Well. I feel that foreign TV channels are destroying our culture through influence. Am a Nigerian and I have seen a lot. Most Nigerians now don't value their culture any more when it comes to food they prefer eating foreign food to our own locally made food which is even more nutritious and healthier to our body also language.

Most Nigerians don't even care about speaking their mother tongue anymore fashion also. They prefer wearing foreign materials and so on which is not meant to be.

From my point of view, foreign channels are more subjective than our Indian channels, foreign channels and even movies make the implementation of technologies rather than the emotional and narrow minded things.

I don't say that Indian channels are completely bad, they too show the faces of political fights and riots, but in a exaggerated manner. This is a complete different in foreign channels. They are subjective.

Friends,

I do think that foreign channels are harming our culture because when anybody goes through a channel he forgets to live in the reality and goes into a world of imagination and he tries to imitate it. This attitude of course will harm our culture. If we people think that our culture is way better than any others then we should avoid these channels.

Hello everyone,

According to me foreign channels are not destroying our culture. It depends on person to person. How he/she takes the things. As India is a democratic country. Everyone has right what he/she wants to do. As we are adopting many things from foreign countries. As We prefer wearing western/foreign apparels rather than khakhi clothes. Many people prefer because we like it.

If foreign countries are destroying our culture. Than why we all are appreciating English language, English songs and movies. Why we are sharing our views in English rather than Hindi. As Hindi is our national language. Foreign channels are showing their culture. If we find something good. Than we should adopt it. We should not criticized anything.

Thanks.

Behalf of my personal knowledge I write this stuff. I think that western channels are not destroying our culture they improve our knowledge because when we see channels like discovery, natgeo, history tv they show extraordinary stuff that we will never seen before on any channels.

The discovery channel shows manufacturing of audi, ferrari now can you imagine this kind of manufacturing can be seen on other channel. That is my point and western channel like HBO are present their stuff with english subtitles so we can easily understand what they can say and this improves our english too.

Hello friends.

In my opinion I don't think so Indian culture are destroying by foreign TV channel, it provides huge information regarding technology which is very important for today's generation.

Foreign channel reflect their culture and tradition what they have and its up to you whether you adapt or not.

India famous for their culture and tradition across the world but most of the people say that if some person watch foreign channels they forgot their Indian culture they wear jeans, designer cloth etc ya I know these type of cloth came from western culture.

So it's not means that if we Indian wear kurta pajama so we follow Indian culture, Indian people known for their brain sharpness, discipline, respect of their parent etc.

Although foreign channel like discovery, NGO, BBC etc provides knowledge regarding animal, new discovery, gadget, etc which we can't expect by Indian channel.

Thank you.
