Foreign Television Channels are Destroying Our Culture

Culture can't be destroyed by a mere foreign channel. It is our mind and duty to understand the our own culture. It obvious that we can get the knowlede of the whole world what the other country people are thinking of our culture. We also know that when vivekananda was allowed to tell on the subject called zero he has given the rite knowledge and culture of India to the world and the world has accepted it.

So telling that culture can be destroy by the foriegn culture is not very rite. Seeing the intresting thing on the foreign channel we can devlope more intresing thing. At the end if you don't know the culture of other how can you diffrenciate. So many evil thing are alredy present in our culture, first we have to delete that like caste system, reservation system etc. So telling about the others culture we must have to look on our own. It is the mind set that adopating foreign culture from channel only, we have now a day internet day we can connect ourself to the world and world can also connect with us.

According to me,

Foreign television channels are not destroying our culture, in fact channels like discovery and NatGeo. Provides information and practical views. It totally depends on the person what he wants to see it's nothing related to culture. Their tv shows are far better in technology than our and their rankings are on a global level, so instead, we should try and make our shows at par in excellence as theirs.

Firstly, foreign televisions are making the minds of youths vulnerable and they are adopting foreign culture forgetting their parents, culture and traditional values.

Secondly, foreign televisions are making people's mind disturbed and aggressive. They are adopting illegal methods to earn money instead of working hard and efficiently.

Thirdly, foreign television creates a differential attitude in all the youths since they are not believing in the concept of unity thus making the country full of illegal and addition of divide and rule policy in all over the world.

This is a burning issue in India to talk or speak about. It's not correct to make foreign channels as a wrong issue. If we see a new thing we would like to watch it with more excitement. But watching is only our duty but not imitating it. Even we don't have right to judge what is wrong or what is correct because we ourselves are part of it.

Why should we think foreign channels are the reason for the reason for destroying our culture. Why don't we think mistake in ours?

Friends I would like to say one more thing with an example.

If a boy of clever student has failed his examination due to illness. So he asked to his teacher to give him one more chance. The teacher has excused him and given a chance to write an exam in one separate room and keeping with him an invigilator.

So the teacher have kept papers near him and she has gone away. The teacher had confident that he is a clever student so he will not copy and she left that place. By going teacher outside he has decided to copy exam and he has copied the exam.

Mistake is in boy or in teacher. No there is no solution for it. Because teacher have a confident that he will not copy the exam and by keeping papers in front of student he will definitely have a little hope to copy the examination.

So it the mistake is in ours we don't have right to judge what is right and what is wrong. So I would like to say one more thing whatever we do it depends on our mindset. believe in you and your heart then nothing is going to be bad.

We should agree that television shows are destroying our national culture and dress sense.

In Early days (15 years before) there was only Doordarshan channel, daily 2 news effective and efficient way they used to present the news. But now more than 50 news channels all are working for TRP in the result of it the current situation India is standing.

It is very sad to say that the current generation is only thinking about what the news channels are showing.

I don't think foreign channels are spoiling our culture. Why are we just considering the bad things why can't we take up the good things they are offering. Nowadays spoken English and a good vocabulary is all we need to become the jack of all hearts. And we are often suggested to watch English news channels and some other English channels to improve our English. Some English channels are updating us with the recent technologies round the world. We can even get to know their way of living. We can adopt their work culture. And who is asking us to adopt their culture. Its totally up to us what we choose to adopt and what not.

Nowadays the cable operators have come up with the set top box system where we are given the facilities to choose just the channels we would like to watch. Then why can't we strike off the channels showing any harmful contents. Or simply stop watching them. We have many things to learn from them so choose the good and leave the rest.

In my opinion, foreign tv channels are not destroying our culture.

They are just depicting their culture from these channels, adaptability is up to us whether we want to adopt it or not.

In my opinion, foreign channels are far better than Indian tv shows where we can easily predict what's going to happen next and in our Indian tv shows the story only revolves around saas and bahu. Bahu becoming nagging or a fly to take a revenge I mean I think our Indian shows are destroying our culture.

If I'll ask anyone in India who is better Pradyumna or sherlock homes definitely we know the answer or we can say our flying jet or spiderman superman.

Instead, I think foreign television is helping us in some way as we all know nowadays how important English has become we all know the value of English in the corporate world.

So in some or the other way these channels definitely helps us to improve our communication skills and in some way these might help in improving our English too.

The shows like FRIENDS which is an epic show no one can ever beat this show. I mean have we seen an Indian show like this depicting the story of some friends hanging out together.

Parents usually tell their children don't watch English shows as they shows all kind of dirty things and in my opinion, these are the only cause that there are so many cases in Indian than in any other country.

In all foreign television channels Are not destroying our culture but instead I think we should learn something forms their culture and tries to inculcate in our daily life.

Hello guys, I think every one have rights show there opinion, compare foreign TV channel to our TV channel both are have some good and some bad parts. It is fully depend upon to ourselves which side we take, if we take the bad parts of channel so, it is bad for ourselves or we take good parts of those channel so, it is good for us and the sentence is foreign TV channel only destroying our culture it is not true, we are also destroying our culture first we need to think in ourselves how much we are confidence to our culture and how much respect we are giving to our culture after that blame others and last word I want to say our culture is best culture nobody can destroying it.

According to me, Foreign culture is destroying our culture. Sometimes, this is used to improve our knowledge. But, the foreign culture has been destroying our culture.

For example, women's dresses and men's jeans. Because jeans is dangerous our health. Then foods also used in foreign food varieties. That food affects our health suchas, cancer, obesity, thyroid problems. Then processed foods also done by foreign products. So foreign culture is destroying our culture.

How we can blame foreign TV channels for today's degradation of youth what our TV channels are doing. Exactly they are also doing the same. Degrading today's youth in the same way as the foreign TV channels are doing. But just look towards the great channels which are gifts given by the foreign TV channels like Discovery, Netgeo, animal planet, fox traveler. So just look towards your self than point someone else.
