In my view, both have their own space. Actually, EQ comes in the sense when we care about someone or something. But at the same time IQ has no bars. It just keep you updated and upgraded around the people.

Hello friends, in my opinion, IQ must preferred. At that time we would be more intelligent and EQ is valuable in many conditions. And EQ depends upon the circumstance. So professionally we should more IQ.

In my opinion, IQ and EQ are important in a person's life. Both are like two eyes of a person. One should have an IQ to solve a problem in life and one should have an EQ to handle the result of a problem.

These both are different terms. But their interrelation helps a person to develop a positive attitude. IQ is related to thinking ability of person whereas EQ is related to emotional phases of person.

In many situations we require both EQ and IQ, if anyone has higher IQ but not has EQ, then he or she can't handle situations in life. Hence for neat survival of life we Require both equally. EQ=IQ.

As Suresh said I totally agree with him one must develope both portion eq and IQ. Eq is must require for understanding and IQ should be use in manner to help others with good eq that is point.

I think as per the corporate world is concern high IQ level is must. But at the same time we can not neglect EQ good emotional quotient is also must for happier family life.
