Educational qualification for Politicians

Yes, I agree with you Gagan Shivrayan that educational qualifications don't necessary imbibe in them leadership and management skills (and also can be bought, because of low standard mean people, because of such low standard governing staff), but must pass through an interview of high standards, testing their abilities, like in the case of IAS. There must also be a psychological test if he is selfish enough to get corrupted. This framework to choose politicians must be brought into practice.

Education is important to political.

Some people get degree easily but they don't have any knowledge about politics and political rules and responsibilities.

As per me, politicians must have basic educational qualifications other wise they can involve in gambling.

My opinion is knowledge is important because most of people they get degree easily they have lack of money.

When person has one or two degree and they have not knowlage about our culture, nation, people problem how can he\she develop country.

Yeah, I agree with education. But education about politics.

I think we need good educational knowledge about our culture, economy, nation and much more because knowledge gives more idea to any politician in which sector our country need development and they know the importance of knowledge for our country.

No, I think it is not NECESSARY for our politicians to be educated. It is great if they are educated but if they do not possess the skills needed to manage a country, like knowledge of the economy, trades and also flaws of our country which need to be perfect. Possessing a college degree does not give you all those qualities.

Yes, Education qualification should be necessary for politicians. In India, the Illiteracy rate is high. So to make our India more educated, our leader should be educated. But as my opinion, Educational qualification for politicians means that they should have good knowledge about our economy, trades and social issues rather than a college degree. They should be good enough to communicate with foreigner delegates because they are representative of our nation.

I personally don't think education should be compulsory. Because nowadays education is directly proportional to grades and nothing else but being a politician or a leader is truly a part of mental abilities. If we go acording to this debate. What happens if we consider that education is compulsory as usual everybody will get a degree by just agregate passing marks and then be a politician but a person with the best thoughts for the country will be discarded cause he could not afford education or just was not capable of doing anything according to our education. Cause its drafted by some one who passed the mpsc or upsc even if by reservation and the best minds were left behind the reservation race. Some of The best minds in the world are not educated. A sheet paper made by a person who himself got the job theough reservation or corruption cannot decide the future of a person. And the minds which would think the best of a country cannot be left behind for a silly reson like you did pass your HSC.

As per my point of view, education should not be necessary because of as per our last PM Mr. Manmohan Singh he was high educated but he couldn't handle properly his responsibility.

So politician should have politics knowledge, Good Convincing Skill, Good Communication Skill and also they take a decision under the pressure.

Out current PM Mr. Narendra Modi, he didn't take properly education but he is working very well compare to educated person.

According to me, education should not necessary only they should have political experience, Hard Worker and also care about the society, and nation also.
