Dot com or doubt com?

"Dot com or doubt com?" is a "difficult to understand topic" as I can see from a number of comments here.

Dot com refers to use of internet, its reliability, its security. By Doubt com the examiner means that is Internet reliable or secure?

My views:

It depends what is your need? If you are using Internet for Education purpose, may it be finding colleges, notes, research articles etc. It is very very useful. All latest technical knowledge is available easily. Students can find colleges as per their needs.

On the other hand, if we consider Banking sector, it is becomes really doubtful to do the transactions. Of course we have Anti-viruses, Firewalls, but still a number of bank account passwords have been hacked. Security is the question here.

Same is the case with Social networking websites.

Conclusion- Internet being doubtful depends on the purpose of the use.

My dear friends Selva, Suresh and Sare you peoples didn't get the exact meaning of our topic "Dot com or doubt com". In the internet domain not only .com (stands for commercial sites) is present but also several different domains like .net, .in, .org, .edu is available.

Since the internet is too large having lots of different domain, so whenever you tried to get some information from internet you will got several opinions based for that particular information, say weather temperature information on diffrent site shows different weather results etc, in such non-standardize situation you might confused about that result.

So in my opinion the the information present in the internet domain in not following any defined standard causes lots of confusion.

Internet by no doubt is one of the best and most remarkable inventions of the 20th century. Information on each and everything under the sun is available to us in just a few clicks. The age of internet has also ushered in freedom of expression and speech on a global platform having said this, abundance of information on a particular topic is what gives rise to doubts per see. A person using the internet therefore has to be mentally alert to not be swayed by unlimited information available on the world wide web.

Dot com or Doubt com, Internet is here to stay for generations to come, so according to me its the responsibility of the person surfing to be on guard and learn to filter information before believing anything to be true.

With our more and more dependency on internet it's becoming our part of our life and the result of which is boom in commercial sites providing information to entertainment, but with thier increasing number now their is cacaphony of information provided on these sites sometimes contradicting each other and hence one can not say about it's authenticity and it would not be wrong to say that it has become a doubt com from dot com.

We all know that each coin has two sides so if it has some loopholes but on the other hand these sites are also important, hence it's all depend on the user that how's one is using these commercial sites as dot com or doubt com.

Hi friends we already know .com is only used for commercial websites and we know that there are different different types of sites on the internet. They have their particular domain name according to their types. A user can use this according to his/her needs. But People generally type the direct site title on search engine or uniform resource locator but its not an efficient way to access those sites. So In my opinion we should to apply the domain name after the site name then it would be easy for us.

And sometimes we generally seeing that people normally types any site name than he/she can redirect to any other site.

In my opinion,

There have no any controversy about Internet in this century.

It will be dot com and sometime it will be doubt com also. In few words we can express it.

Dot com that helps us to give the desired asks but if we use a search engine for ask the desired, it gives us so many reply from different domains. It may cause of confusion. In that's way dot com turn into doubt com.

Though its depends upon way of use by user's by their varieties mentality.

Sometimes its also be malware but it is only technical problem. Main problem in our point of use or view or in understanding that how you can appreciate it.

In my opinion, Dot com is not creating any problems or confusion. It totally depends on us that how we are taking that information and some valuable site are there, if we follow these trust worthy sites we can get correct information. If we talk about secured sites while making any bank transaction then we have to notice that https not HTTP is an indication for safe payment site.

To conclude I would like to say that Dot com is everything and we do not have to take it as doubt com as it will be our mistake if we consider these valuable sites Doubt com because of our lack of knowledge.

According to me, There are many peoples using the internet nowadays. There are much technological development will be growth in future life. So there are many websites and platform independent applications and sites are in mobile and web browsers. So those sites are useful for users but some sites only getting user details about the persons. So those sites are doubt com. So the main thing is, how to decide peoples are which sites are getting these details and which is used to searching for our news. So that is a very important thing for peoples.

It depends on the use, how do you use the internet. If you are using the internet just for taking some information, then it is not at all harmful and insecure and if you use sensitive information in the site like bank accounts, password during bank transactions, then it can be regarded as doubtful because if that site is not secure then you can get in great trouble. Also, it happens usually that when we are trying to get information about a particular topic then we get different results on different sites and we can't decide which one to be true.

Dear Kalpesh, I think you did not understand the topic of discussion, the topic here is not topic about the domain, whether its. Com or. Org or anything else. . Com is used is a more analogous way to refer to the internet. I think its a doubt. Com because in more or less every situation there is a huge amount of confusion and doubt with respect to the reliability of the information that's available online. For every topic you can find varied data on millions of sites. So the doubt is which data to trust, hence I feel its definitely a doubt. Com.
