This NGO business has baffled me honestly. I have seen them going on world tours with family, spending money effortlessly and just buying all the material things which money can buy in this world. A common man works sincerely day to night and cannot afford crores of rupees till his death. And these middlemen are earning crores of rupees in their so young age. I simply ask the agencies----Why they not question and inquire where, how and when their money is utilized for the society. A rupee should be tallied honestly and if found guilty these culprits should not be allowed to thrive in the name of social upliftment.

Yes, it is true that some NGOs work for making money or for saving their black money and convert it to white money. However, there are some real good NGOs who also make money to sustain the lives of their sincere and honest workers and to sustain the organization in itself. Had these sincere people worked in the corporate world these might have earned in millions! However, they chose to help others. So does that mean they have no right whatsoever to earn money!
People not helping others want to earn millions and believe that those helping others should live hand to mouth. That is keeping double standards. I believe that those working for others should earn more than anyone else or at least at par with the world! Because they deserve so.

There are many non-profit organizations and groups who are actually working for the betterment of people. Www. Webemployed. Com for example, is doing a great work by educating young people to start earning money online even if they don't have physical jobs. I think these type of causes will definitely help the general public.

Hello friends, NGOs are Non-Governmental Organisations and Non Profit organisations also, funded by legal persons or party. These organisations are boon for poor people. The work of these organisations is to provide education and medicine and provide information to live life in a better way specially women of ruler areas.
NGOs fights for people's rights. NGOs give employment which is major problem. There are some areas where government agencies are unable to do work there NGOs wok well. There are more than 20 lacks of NGOs in India having 1 NGO for each 600 people, but we Indians are still poor. These results show that NGOs are made to reduce the taxes.
Behind these organisations people make only their life better instead of poor people. So finally it could be say that NGOs are need of society to make life better but some reforms can be made so the working method of NGOs could be change.

There are said to be many NGO's working with the black money. If a proper auditing by the govt is done and transparency is maintained by providing the details about how the money was used on the websites, it could prove to be a highly efficient system for tackling the problems we face in the society.

Every NGO's has their own goals to reach. For example, some NGO's aim at reducing unemployment while some others aim at providing education or shelter for needy. Their work should be appreciated as they are non profit and service oriented organizations. It is equally true that in very few NGO's the funds are being misused.
In order to overcome such issues, one must know how the money which we offer as funds is used by the NGO. Besides offering funds we must also accompany the NGO's (as a volunteer) in their working when we get time. Then we can know how the money is being used and we can also get to know their steps to reach their goals.

Hello friends,
This topic is quite a matter of discussion. Coming forward to do charitable activities for poor and needy people is a great and respectable task. We should appreciate that, NGO people take steps to return to the society that has given a lot to them.
But yes, indeed, there's a flip side of the coin where people uses it as a medium of conversion of BLACK into WHITE. People open charitable trusts, put some "DONATION BOXES", dump there Black money in that box and then buy the assets in the name of that trust.
A very common thing that I have noticed while doing Audit of a NGO, that people working on field level are the one who faces the most problems but get paid with, I will charitably say, pannys. On the other hand, people working at management level get paid quite handsomely.
Funds sent by government companies, other NGOs, foreign government are used in a manner by which almost 40% of money is absorbed by the management in the name of their salaries and overheads (indirect costs).
My personal view stands as, they do the good job but still they are not using the resources at their best.
