Hi.
As we know that we are living in developing country not a developed country, so there are as we know that 50% people are having access to internet so remaining do not have access so about them, here I want to just say that first make the people skilled so they can use the technology then I think digital India can be succeed, and then if our country would be fully digital so there can be counter attack on black money and there must increase reliability on tax, transaction so gov can track.

Digital India was launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 1 July 2015, with an objective of connecting rural areas with high-speed Internet networks and improving digital literacy. [The vision of Digital India programme is inclusive growth in areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities. It is centred on three key areas " digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, governance and services on demand, and digital empowerment of citizens.

Digital India is a great initiative taken by the Indian Government. This helps people to connect through technologies. An increase in digitization increases the transparency of the country. There will be a reduction in pen and paperwork. It is also beneficial for Indian villages as there will be a gradual increase in technologies in village areas. Now, this is the responsibility of technology efficient citizens to reach to the rural areas and get them aware of these technologies.
Thank You.
Thank You.

Everyone has their own valid points. I would like to add digital India is growing tremendously in this pandemic situation. For example, in this lockdown many people got benefited through online classes, work from home, network marketing, etc. This shows India is achieving digitalization in a very short interval of time. Though there are some cons like cheating, malpractice, online phishing has been increased I believe everything will get well soon through more security features in future.

In my view, digitisation in India is indeed a good step but it's not really happening. Though the mode of the online transaction has got a headstart, even then today all money transactions are not being made using Paytm or such modes. The reason behind it is that many of these transactions are in reality bribery. And if these are given or taken through any online transaction mode then a record will be kept and people might get caught. Digitalisation helps everyone if done in the right way.

If we can track every transaction digitally to its origin it will be a step towards eradicating black money. People should be accountable for the money they have and the assets they own. Slowly we should phase out this physical currency to become a digital economy. Now even many small merchants have the technology to use digital transactions (Paytm etc) it is the right time to start the transition. As usual, some corrupt minds will not like this idea. I hope we move in the right direction.

Digital India is a campaign launched by the Indian government to provide services electronically via the internet. Upsides might include:
1) Electronic transfer of money from one account to another.
2) Control the flow of black money as we can monitor the flow of digital money.
3) Easy government related services like registering a or getting the status of a complaint.
4) Saves paper, hence saving the environment.
5) Saves time.
While some downsides are:
1) Opening ourselves to hackers.

In my opinion, digital India is one of the best initiative taken by our honourable prime minister. It has a lot of benefits Starting with.
1. The problem of cash will get solved.
We don't need to carry cash every time with us. One can roam anywhere without any tension or fear of being robbed.
2. It will save time.
One does not stand in the long queues to pay the bills, to deposit money. You can do such things by just one touch. It will save a lot of time and after all "time is money".
