In my point of view, I always suggest upgrading the technology, in order to compete with other countries digitalization of India play a prominent role. According to me, nothing exists without advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages.

1. With digitalization, all work can be done very easily. Because nowadays all are having the knowledge of smartphone usage so money transaction or any other work can be made by sitting in the home itself.

2. The main reason why we prefer digitalization is TIME. All are trying to save their time because it is as equal to money nowadays.

3. Corruption is the major fact why our India is not grown still now as we expected so by digitalization corruption can be controlled as it contains the full electronic lists of money transaction in the database.

On the other side, rural people who are not educated, don't have the smartphones, even unaware of this digital platform, how can they use the digital platform. So, my point is this digital India is a benefit for only those who knows to use it. In today's world, time is a precious one. So through this digital platform within a few seconds or minutes, we can buy things, transfer money, book tickets, pay bills etc.

According to my perception, digitalization is a very good step taken by the Indian government on 1 july, 2015. As there are both advantages and disadvantages in every sector but what is important that if merits are more than these overcome the small demerits occurring.

Digitalization is helpful for all age groups and handicapped people too.

The agricultural sector, education sector, telecommunication, service sector, banking, etc. Are some examples which are being vast due to digitalization. As we can now save our money and data and time. Reduced corruption, decrease documentation, and increase public sector service are some more merits of digitization. The workload is reduced and accuracy is enhanced.

While the demerits are for the rural area and internet connectivity. So what the government has to do now is to provide a vast internet connection and for those who are illiterate and from rural background government has provided universal digital literacy which means that one member from each house will be taught the computer and mobile operations free of cost. And there are many other schemes too.

So, in my opinion, this initiative taken by the countries' governments is beneficial.

We know that everything has a good side and a bad side, the thing is to what we will accept. Digitalising according to me is a very good thing that gives me my education. For a financial weaker student like me who wants to study with minimum expenses, that is possible only because of the online educational platform. But some uneducated people who won't understand the concept of digitalising face some problems but day by day they will get to know everything.

We also can buy from small pins to big vehicles from online shopping just by sitting in home and that is most important in these pandemic days.

I love another change also, people can apply for any governmental scheme or any help from the government in an online site rather than to run again and again to the office of people like politician (Sarapancha, mayor, MLA, MP etc.

Digitalising gives us almost every benefit of possibility but sometimes We also face some consequences like cyber crime, bankruptcy, fake calls and DMs with bad languages etc. Students and children now getting too addicted to online videos and all, that is quite disappointing.

But overall we have to accept the good things like a responsible citizens of India.

Digital India refers to connecting the whole country with the help of internet.

Digitalisation is good in many ways but in a country like ours, it has its own demerits.

First coming to the merits of the Digitalisation.

1. Common people are now no longer required to stand up in queues for long hours for the transaction of their money.
2. Money transfer becomes very easy.
3. E-commerce sites have made the daily needs of household available easily.
4. Programs like SYAWAM helps the students to study different things in just one click.
5. It reduces the use of paper and hence we do not need any currencies to be printed which will help our economy.
6. Apps like DIGILOCKER helps us to keep the documents safe with us.
7. Accessing bank accounts becomes easy.

There are certain de-merits of digitalisation.

1. Implementation was not good.
2. India is a country where about half of the population lives in villages. Awareness campaigns should be organised for them before introducing the digitalisation.
3. Cyber fraud.
4. Network connectivity in rural areas.
5. Digital illiteracy.

If considered as a whole country the implementation was not good because if digital illiteracy in our country.

Hello everyone.

I am Shweta Singh. According to me, Digital means doing anything in online mode without being physically present.

It is a great initiative taken by our PM Modi in July 2015.

As we know due to the covid pandemic everything stopped but one thing that helped us to stay in a home is the internet which is considered the backbone of digital India.

To make it successful there was a big hand of Reliance group (jio), who provided is internet service first at free of cost and after one year at an affordable price.

Everything has two sides.

ADVANTAGES :
1. Removal of the black economy.
2. Creation of new jobs.
3. A mobile for worldwide access to all services.
4. A bank account for immediate benefit transfers of subsidies and payments.
5. Easy and complex study and study materials are easily available because of digitalization.
6. The program also aims to eliminate all electronics imports from foreign countries by 2020 and make India an electronics manufacturing superpower.

DISADVANTAGES :

1. Data security.
2. Crime and Terrorism.
3. Social disconnect.
4. Work overload.
5. Digital media manipulation.
6. Job insecurity.
7. Addiction.
8. Social Alienation.

Hello everyone, it's Mrunal.

In my opinion, Digital India plays a vital role in the Indian economy. It is a very good initiative taken by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. It is the step towards the digital empowerment of India.

It is beneficial to the people who have busy schedules & not having time to do the tasks physically being there. They can take benefits of online transactions. It's very useful in daily life. Considering my example, my father pays for my mess bills by using online transactions. It saves his time instead of being in a queue in the banks. There are many examples of this digital India concept. Really, it helps for human comfort as well as transparent procedures.

As everything has pros and cons, this digital India concept also has some drawbacks. The main thing is illiterate people in a rural area. India does not have that much literacy rate. The people who are not literate, they don't easily trust on this online transaction and all. It is a difficult task to make them aware of the same.

So, finally focusing on the positive side, we should try to take a step forward to be part of digital India & try at our level to make people aware of this.

Good Evening Everyone!

Today, I want to share my thoughts on the topic ie. "Digital India: Whom Does it Benefit?".

To start with We have to know what does the word Digital mean. It means something smarter something that can take decisions itself in lesser time and effort. Digital India is making the lives of its users easier and at the same time lazier.

The points where Digital beats the pre-existed platforms are,

1. Security: Yes, Digital transactions or messages are end to end encrypted and is pretty hard to decipher.
2. Accuracy: Once again accuracy lies with the accuracy of the user in using it, how digitally literate he/she is.
3. Speed: Things are done within seconds.
4. 24*7 availability: They are at your fingertips whenever you need.

Now, the bigger question is who does all this benefit?
The answer is even simple as to them who are rich enough to afford the expenses and at the same time are literate enough to understand the techniques of how to use the technology.

To be all Digital we as a Nation need more time, there are classes who are still illiterate and find it hard to make their both ends meet, so, as I said, We need more time.

Thank You,

For hearing me.

As per the topic, I would like to say that both the government of India and Indian people are benefited from digitalization.

First I like to cover how IIndianpeople are benefit form digitalization. Digitalization has changed the perspective of common people now any work be done a second. And it is necessary also because today the world is changing very fast and to cope up with this we have to be updated. Changing manual work into digital form has benefited so much. If we talk about the demerits like digital fraud it only happens because some people are not aware of the use and for that should people should be literate. The government should take initiative to make awareness about the digital advantages and what things remember while doing online transactions.

Government is also benefiting from the digitalization, now all the transaction is done online then the government can easily found the tax offender and main benefit is direct benefit transfer now all the subsidies, pension, and any government scheme money will directly transfer to the beneficiary now there is no need of the middle man. All the government work is done online so there will be less corruption and bribe.

As we all know that the world is truly becoming a global village. Given the closely connected world that we are living in where a person is just a call away, it is necessary to make sure that digital India reaches every Indian. Following are the benefits of Digital India:

1) Even if you are living in the remotest area of the country if internet services are operational then you can learn from the experts teaching in prestigious institutes like IIT.

2) If you are running short of cash, then the digital wallet becomes handy. Also during the pandemic time where minimal contact is needed bills can be paid without exchanging notes by means of a digital wallet.

3) It doesn't matter if a person is illiterate, all that is needed is a will to learn. It's not rocket science!

4) It ensures transparency in governance because everything becomes available in the public domain if it's online and citizens get greater access to information as to where the taxpayer's money is utilized etc.

5) During the pandemic, work from home became a new norm so digitalization is a must to cope with the changing times.

So given the list of pros it can be safely said that digital India is must.

Digitization of the country can definitely be considered as a step in the direction of progress, as this concept ensures the most effective implementation of technology in the current scenario.

Cashless transactions, online banking and shopping have made transactions really convenient, sorted and secure. Hence, benefitting the masses having access to such technology and proper information related to it.

Yes, it cannot be denied such people are generally residing in the urban areas. But with the availability of proper training centres and also if complete and correct information is given to the rural population, it would benefit them the most making the regular transactions much easier, tangible and relatively fast.

Ofcourse, the disadvantages associated with digitization such as hacking and unlawfully accessing the personal information of an individual cannot be denied, but thankfully such activities are subjected to the cybercrime cells and nowadays have some severe consequences in our country.

Hence, I think digital platforms are helping urban people well enough and will certainly make things more hands-on and safe for the people living in remote areas.
