Here everyone focused on Trade not aid, let focus on aid too.
1) Infrastructure is not up to the mark to boost trade as it takes 30-35 days at the international ports for loading and unloading the goods. Whereas in china it takes 2-3 days or few hours to load or unload moreover all the ports are not connected with railways and airports so need to develop the infrastructure to increase the trade.
2) Developing nations need both. Trade has huge limitations based on the availability of resources and skilled workforce. And it would take a long time to generate profit from the trade again all such profit is vulnerable to the fluctuation in the market. So trade alone could not help a nation progress. The aid is equally necessary, aid for health, military and infrastructure supplements the growth of any developing nation which they could not afford from their revenue alone.
3) That's where Aid for Trade comes in as financial assistance to build new infrastructure, improve ports or customs facilities in developing countries in short we want to help developing countries "trade" their way out of poverty.
4) Today, the EU and its Member States provide more trade-related development assistance than the rest of the world put together. We contributed a third of world-wide Aid for Trade assistance, or 10.7 bn, in 2010 that's a quarter of our own total official development assistance (ODA) budget. And the results speak for themselves a 10% increase in Aid for Trade spending on infrastructure has been shown to lead to a 6.5% increase in goods exports.
5) The starting point is of course that we use the resources available effectively. This means we need to target Aid for Trade right and priorities especially Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
6) Standards, services, intellectual property rights, public procurement, technical, social and environmental rules, infrastructure and packaging facilities are only possible because of aid in developing countries.
7) It is distinguished from humanitarian aid by focusing on alleviating poverty in the long term, rather than a short term response.
8) The talent which is in us is not given sufficient way to show and our talent remains inside us and later dies with our death.
9) The reason being that that trade is controlled by the developed counties and we have little voice on the exchange rates. Hence trade will produce nothing.

According to me, trading is the oldest tradition of all the countries of the world to become a developed country. Every developing country should start trading as per their capabilities. In today's world, if developing countries start thinking that they don't need to trade, they will become developed countries only by getting aid from developed countries, that will be the worst thought ever. There is also a dark side to getting aid from developed countries, in today's selfish world, no developed country will help others without looking forward to their own profit, and in some cases, this selfishness gets worse and the developing countries get into the trap and face the worst problems. Besides, trading makes a country self-dependent and all the residents get the confidence to do something new, and do some experiments that will be able to make some positive changes in the world. So, according to me, that is why developing countries need trade, not aid.

Developing countries are the ones where economy is in the growing stage. In these countries people are in need of products and services and the demand is increasing day by day. And in the era of globalization, purchasing power of people has increased so any new product or service launched will be in high demand in developing nations. Moreover in a nation like India where there is a huge population with different cultures the demand s also vary a lot. So any big firm whether its automobile sector or electronic sector will certainly have consumers lined up for there products to get sold. Hence trade is certainly necessary not only for enhancing development of these countries but also for increasing the living standards of people. Not only that the firms will also get an extremely good market to invest which will also enhance there trade and increase profit levels.

IF today we catch a fish from the nearby pond and give it to a needy person, we would feed him for one time (AID) but if we tell him how to catch this fish (TRADE) then we are feeding him for the whole life. I mean friends we need trade not aid at all. If today we hanker after developed countries for aid somehow in the coming future we would be dominated by them but if we make them our trade partner it will be a good sign for a developing country like India.
China is shining like anything not because it was aided by any country but because it aids even the developed countries by its trade. Friends history is made by the brave person who used to live without any hope of any type of aid, they chosen a self dependent life and in the present scenario a developing country should be self dependent and it can be possible only by developing a good trade.

Any Economy has to pass through the stages namely, Aggrarian,Manufacturing and Trade. The faster an economy grow from aggrarian to Manufacturing, the more it becomes independent. Globalisation has even sprankled high competition environment in developing countries. Hence to struggle and compete with global standards, our companies/enterprises have to increase the standard/quality of their material and export as much as possible to EU,USA or other countries where the lucrative gains are possible. This is how we save economy. Aid is certainly not an option because its more like Do or Die. Though dying is not an option here really, in case of disasters a country(developed or developing) needs aid from all over the world to sustain. So Trade instead aid.

My Friends,
Trade is better because that makes a country realize and explore its own potential, it gives the country a sort of Independence which every country seeks. Aid is not a cure to a problem, its an instant short term solution, but in the long run it won't prove to be any help.
Trade also brings a developing country and a developed country closer, it abridges the gap between them, which thereby results in an healthy and peaceful relation.
Trade also contributes to economic development, and other countries learn to value you.
Thus, Trade is a long term solution, which has proven and will keep on proving to be the correct path for any Developing country to earn self-esteem and recognition, and peace among countries as well.
Thank you.

In my opinion in the era of globalization we need trade we don't need aid just because through the trade we are in position to exchange our goods and services with other country and during this we are also in position to know about the culture of other country and slowly slowly we are going to adopt the good things from the other country and now I would like to talk about the aid if any country is in the practice of getting aid the we can say that it is beneficial for the short-term and if any country is going to go long with the aid then I am sure that first that is going to be lazy & then sick, then weak, then diminish. That's why only trade is good practice aid should not be entertained by any country for a long period.

It is obvious that developing country need trade without trade the development of the country would be at very slow rate. As we take the example of all developed countries like USA and other developed countries. Which have a trade relation with other countries up to a great extent. Here in India we have many brands of these countries like apple, blackberry etc. As comparison to it we are less no.of brands of our country here in these developed countries. And by having trade with other countries the quality of the product will improve due to great competition to be faced. On the other side if we are offering aid to any country we are making it helpless.

According to me, we as a developing country needs trade instead of aid. By getting aid from other developed countries, we will become lazy in process of development and will not be able to become self-dependent. Though we can become self-dependent as we possess the talent in our country that is needed for this purpose.
We should take help from other countries that's developed countries only at limited extent not always.
Increasing our share in trade will definitely help us in improving our financial status, in increasing our national income and in order to make us a developed country from a developing one.
THANK YOU.
