If we keep India clean not only our family many people and their family can be saved. Many diseases can be stopped as many types of pollution like air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, noise pollution. These pollution is causing diseases like asthma, lung cancer etc.

Many slogans are given by the people but do they do it. Many thoughts are given, but do they do it. Our father of nation, Mahatma Gandhiji's and our PM Narendra modi was and is to have a clean India, so let them promise neat India, clean India.

Wherever we see any garbage we must report to the nearest available media so that it can be brought to the notice of all citizens (an awareness program in channels).

And if there are any garbages seen around it can be also brought into notice by paying fines.

According to my opinion I think 'Cleanliness next to Godliness'. Being clean and tidy is important. Our planet is known as green planet. So, we should clean and protect our environment.

Completely agree that its the fundamental responsibility of citizen to maintain cleanliness but its not about only Indian citizen, yeah off course Indian citizens need to be more cautious about this but it should be responsibility of every human kind because most of the diseases spread due to unhygienic atmosphere we live in and and to be safe from this disease we should take some initiatives and must take responsibility. Like nowadays swine flu has destroyed lives of many families, peoples died due to this so, its the responsibility of every human kind. Thank you.

Hi It's Jane,

Well clean India movement will bring a great change if its taken seriously as it is said "The worthy aims are actually met with equally worthy practice" so every individual should participate and make a difference even a bit to this beautiful India, nothing is impossible and with proper attitude, effort, awareness and a civic sense of the people of India.

I am 100 percent guarantee that India will be brought to spotlight of being the "Cleanest city in the world" no doubt but India must play it's part for it requires a sustained effort and not just by few individuals. There has to be an effective monitoring mechanism.

Hello friends this is Khushbu, I would add my views on the topic cleanliness. Cleanliness is a very important in today's life. I think it should first start from our home then school or colleges then streets and etc.

There should be new laws punishing or imposing fines on the people seen throwing garbage or doing related things. Youngsters should take initiatives. Rivers are the major resources used by people, so they should be also cleaned regularly also not should be polluted.

Cleanliness is one of the biggest issues in our country. Government take actions on cleanliness but the public still spit and throw garbage. Resources are deplenishing and we should think about the world, global warming is increasing due to which ice is melting. Well, we should care about our surroundings.

Yes, I agree with the topic that cleanliness is a fundamental responsibility of an Indian citizen. No one can stay in a dirty space for way too long, eventually one day they will try to maintain and keep their surrounding areas clean. Only when we create an example we can motivate others to do the same leading to a difference in the future.

Therefore, as a citizen of India start by keeping your home clean only then you can keep your area clean.
