I think capital punishment should not be abolished. Because justice will not be achieved by death penalty. Instead it will be achieved by reforming the person and giving sufficient punishment.

Hello Guys I'm pooja.

According to me, capital punishment should not be banned. These make fear under the criminals such as a rapist, killer. Through capital punishment, such type of crimes decrease.

Obviously, the capital punishment should be banned. Kill the crime and not the criminal. Many liberal democracies are completely pro-life when it comes capital punishment and as a result a lot of their prisons are running out of criminals. Whereas in a country like India, where capital punishment is quite common, You might find high rates of crimes. Social Awareness is the way forward, Many of the criminals are victims of social trauma and psychological trauma. We need to understand their condition before commenting about the punishment they should get. Rehabilitation is a must in prisons. I think countries like India should retrospect the methodology of dealing with criminals in the European democracies.

I support capital punishment, many perpetrators deserve it. For example; the rapist and murderer, if not they will do the same mistake again and again and will become an expert in it, they should be killed for playing with the lives of innocent people. If capital punishment was banned no one will get afraid of laws and lead their lives against the laws by making crimes.

As per my view, capital punishment should not be abolished. If we abolish it, then many things may be taken for granted and then we feel less secure.

I support capital punishment because if criminals would not have the fear of death then our country would be called "criminal country".

This whole death penalty thing makes no sense. It's like the government will kill the prisoner for killing a person.

How does this make the government any different from the killer. You are killing a person for killing a person. Then aren't you committing the same crime?what lesson are you giving to the prisoner that you'll die and even if he regrets it, what can he do? It's too late to change anything.

You should allow him to live under the supervision of people so if he does a crime again he would be imprisoned for life. Why don't we start by using words instead of guns. "death penalty is a murder".

I think the capital punishment must be given in rarest of rare cases i.e. when the degree of measure is same for eg if some one has brutally murdered someone and it is very much clear that he is the only criminal than it must be given, in all cases it must not be given because it can give an adverse affect on today's generation. I must say that it should not vanished from our Constitution as then it may feel to someone of bo fear of life.

I read all Views of different guys.

So as per my opinion, in terms of death if criminal accept their mistake and do not have repent for that crime then CP must be there. Our rules are not strict as other countries have so crime and criminal increasing day by day.

Crime is done by mistakenly and person/relatives who suffer from that crime and they allow apology to that criminal then CP should not there only this terms. So rules like Eyes on Eyes.
