This is Ajay Kumar today my topic is that bride burning and dowry may look bad, but are an integral part of India.

I think in my point of view it is totally correct statement. As we all know that dowry system is traditionally started culture in our society but it is not a good thing as it has many bad effects in our society. Many of the marriage will not happen due to the dowry system and many more couple will be not be together due to this.

Many of the bride will threatened in-laws house and sometimes they were killed due to not paid of dowry.

And nowadays the dowry system is also a cause of domestic violence which is not good for us and society.

And finally, I want to say that dowry system should be banned in our society but those parents who want to give dowry in form of anything like furniture, bed or even money can give but not forcefully if he wishes to do so for the welfare of her daughter can give but not too high.

Now, I am here to express my view on the topic dowry system.

We all know that dowry system is ancient time started culture in our society. In my opinion, it is not a good thing. And it had also many bad effects on our society. And many of the marriages will not happen due to this dowry system. In the past time, many brides killed and torcher when they are not paid the dowry. But I think that nowadays very few people ask dowry. Because nowadays every person literate and also understand the dowry system is a crime. And Now talk to how totally banned this system. Nowadays many schemes launched by the governments to this system. But it is not the only the responsibility of government. It is also the responsibility of every citizen to stopped this system. So I think it should be totally banned. And those parent's who want to give anything like furniture, bed or even money so give but not forcefully and not for groom's family enjoy.

However, changes in laws and economic opportunities do not automatically change social attitudes. Some families continue to justify dowry in the name of tradition, prestige, or cultural expectations, even when these practices contradict both the law and basic human dignity.

Therefore, addressing dowry requires more than strict legal enforcement. It requires education, financial empowerment of women, community awareness, and a cultural shift where marriage is seen as a partnership between equals rather than a financial arrangement.
