People never expect peace where there is violence so I think non-violence and peace are interrelated to each other.

Peace and non violence is a concept that has been overshadowed by violence in all forms of media and entertainment. Though I do believe this to contribute heavily to the violent and non morality mindset I see in our youth.
It is our ultimate duty to teach our youngsters right from wrong, good from bad, and help them to hold onto what we've all felt as a child. The peace and love in our hearts. There is no better feeling than doing something nice for someone else. That feeling comes from the heart.

Considering the present scenario, I feel that these values are not inculcated in young minds and not given much importance. School kids fight and we see senior people yell at each other. It's been quite a common thing that we all encounter in our daily life. How to eradicate this. ? Simple. , just teach school children, the importance of peace and non-violence factors. They are the pivotal values that every single individual should possess to lead a peaceful good life.

Peace and Nonviolence are age old strategies. And one must follow them for the existence of mankind on this earth. Anything achieved with arrogance and violence doesn't last longer and cannot give us satisfaction of victory. Inculcating such qualities enables us to strive for wellness of humankind.

Peace and non violence were never the main tools of war in the very past. We specially found its implementation in Indian freedom struggle, all because of the efforts Mahatma Gandhi. If we read through the pages of Indian freedom struggle we will realize the power of non violence. Today nothing can be said with stress if peace and non violence are outdated concepts or not, because we find wars and destruction everywhere. Again there are still groups of people who trust in non violence and the profit of sorting out disagreements through peaceful negotiations. Young minds have become aggressive. But it is because they find the people around them adopting violent means to get there things done. Its like-One rotten apple in a basket, can ruin all the other apples present in the basket.
But again it depends on what do we trust -whether the destructing violent means or on ideals and principles of peace and non violence.

Peace And Violence are the terms we are used to hear since childhood, but do we really know what their real meaning is. No absolutely not. We just know that peace and violence are the terms related to wars, or else Mahatma Gandhi time.
Peace is having different a meaning now, peace means calmness and tranquility, a person who is calm, unbiased can really understand the meaning of peace. Hot headed people like violence and to them everything can be overcome by violence. So according to me peace can be there when a person clear his or her head and think properly with every aspect to form his/her opinions, then only peace can overcome the huge term 'VIOLENCE'.

I vehemently believe that peace and non-violence uphold the spirit of mankind in the truest sense. Man was never meant to be violent. It is unfortunate that the scenario has changed drastically. We are all stuck in the rat race and have tendencies to outplay others by employing shallow means. One must understand that there is a thin line between violence and aggression. It is high time that non-violent men and women raise their voice against violence through peaceful demonstrations and buttress and propagate the concept of peace. Fighting for your rights is not violence provided you don't hurt anyone in the process intentionally. Wars has never done good to mankind if one views the world as one entity. It is true that wars have eliminated or destroyed certain evils in the world. But at what cost? At the cost of lives of innocent and ingenuous men and women being devastated? Is that justified? There are always more peaceful ways to combat terrorism and violence I. E through dialogues and better intelligence etc. Therefore, to conclude I believe that peace and non-violence will never ever be out-dated concepts-rather they are essential for the survival of mankind as a whole.

Formerly there were leaders who preached us peace n non voilence, but with advancement and awareness everyone is fighting for their own rights. today we have platform where we can fight for our rights. Young minds are more aggressive and excited. They fight and struggle for watever they deserve to recieve. So its not wrong to say that peace and non violence are outdated concepts.

No not at all. Peace is evergreen and non violence too. But today's politicians have made non violence a child's play by undergoing fasts for silly matters and who know whether they were really fasting or feasting behind the screens. I dont blame all, i blame only a few corrupt guys. Only non violence can solve most problems. Take for example the India and Pakistan peace talk, it is producing more results than the Kargil war.
