As life has 2 phases, a coin has 2 faces similarly cashless economy in India has also pros and cons. It would greatly affect the poor people like street vendors who don't even have bank accounts. India is a rural country as well as a poor country where everything is not digital. No doubt cashless system will surely eradicate corruption and will increase the revenue but it will also effect the uneducated people of India who are a responsible citizen. So, first of all, we have to take everyone together to a certain level where applying cashless system would not cause any havoc.

Thank you.

Hello,

In my opinion, digital payment is secure because digital payment takes strict against the corruption.

1- if we can assume for a time or moment there is only digital payment is available and we are going any.

Government office any government official demand a bribe then we can transfer money into there account.

And when our work is complete then we can file a case then there is investigation and after finding a guilty.

A strict action can be taken against them.

2-before 25year there is not available mobile now time a smiling child can use mobile them by we can not use digital payment.

3-yes we can think everyone can not use because of uneducated people but we provide a time of five years in this year we can provide a training through skill India and through skill India many people can benefit they can job and farmer and poor people and also daily wage people can get.

Going cashless is definitely a laudable step by Indian govt Let us just take it as a means of educating our "so called yokel" population which you feel is not sophisticated enough to grasp the know hows of cashless economy. You tell if not today then when are you going to suggest it? In 2050 by then rest of the world will be way ahead of us to catch upto them. We along with remote area people will be able to transact cash in a flash isn't it so convenient. We can just take it like ATMs there must have been a time when ATMs were introduced at that time it was not that appreciable but now even labour workers use it. It will blend in the routine once we accept it. Alright if its credibility is a question you feel it's not credible enough then is cash payment secure? does it not face the heat of corruption? it definitely does, so instead of reverting back its better to adopt a newer system which gives so many benefits like technological advancement, record of all money transfer, reduction in tax theft, no more money laundering through illegal ways, more money in our economy, higher GDP, diminished poverty. Cashless should be welcomed by all for the greater good of our country and its citizens. Its granted that not many have smart phones but cashless will speed up the approach of internet and smart phones In Indian villages. Which otherwise will remain a sluggish process. I don't say it declare it today only but take it step by step and start laying groundwork from today to propel it.

I don't think this is a good step if you consider whole country. If we consider only a state like Delhi where around 25-30% of population don't even have permanent residence proof (living in unauthorized colonies) so most of people don't have bank accounts. And people are not properly educated to handle online transaction. Consider if you want to pay online through credit/debit card you have to pay tax. In order to save tax, you use vendor like Paytm, meaning people will rely more on these sites which may not be the safest mode.

It is a good thing. Encouraging digital transaction we are reducing the black money. IT is not able to stop the corruption and we have to reduce it. Educated people more benefit to the digital transaction. Village people they do not know how to use digital transaction and how to use internet.

Every transaction is online it will not better because some of members are hacking the account numbers.

Digital payment is secure and govt took a good step because by the help of plastic money govt can recover the black money. But now it not work in the whole country because most of the people in our country are uneducated so they think it is not safe or so before the making a cashless India. Everyone should he educated.

In my opinion, totally cashless system for is India not a good idea. Because at this stage the peoples of India doesn't have the required tools and knowledge to go fully cashless it takes almost 3-5 years to prepare for that. I partially in favor of cashless system but to go an economy with cashless system we have to first educate peoples how to use the tools required to cashless and also another aspect that affects the cashless system is the security in the process of going cashless. So if we make all that thing that are required to go cashless then, we look forward to go cashless.

It is big step taken by the PM Modi. But digital payments are secure but for Indian economy, it may not work properly. It works only urban areas but in rural area it maybe not work just because of network strength. So the conclusion is if every digital payment are secure in Indian economy then it is a huge achievement to go cashless.

Hello everyone,

This step which was taken by our ruling government is awesome but one major problem is, in India most of the people don't have smartphone as well as knowledge about the how to use Internet, so according to my point of few as soon as possible we helps those people who don't know how to access the internet.
