Making India to go cashless through Digital payment will not only help India to develop but also it ll make a bench mark in the history. Digital payments are very easy to use and its secure because we will be do everything through One-time password so one cannot misuse our account. Some might feel that Making payments digitally might be difficult, but to make payments more user-friendly banking sector is giving us easy options for promoting digital payments.

Yes, we should adopt cashless, because it is faster, secure, all the records are maintained, and if not now then when It's high time by saying India is populated with more labour class, I think once it is implemented it will be adopted by all, it will be tougher but all toughest work is done by illiterate people, and in my opinion this is not that toughest than their daily work. So India should go cashless. It is the major sign of our growth in development.

In my point of view, it has some benefits. We can make the payment easily and it also helps to reduce our time. In other hands it is really safe full system.

According to me, it is essential for our economy to become cashless. And it is the best time to get digital and we have best infrastructure to secure digital payment. Because what really matter for us is to take a start to go cashless and our system will become more secured with passage of time and awareness of people about cyber crime.

Digital payment is secure because this system is personal banking and don't take much time to do the transactions and need not take money in hand.

It's a great idea and its safe, digital payments are one the fastest mode of transaction. It will make our work easier. And with this step government can actually recover provide hard cash to those who are need of that. But if India goes cashless now then it will be a problem, though it's a great idea, but a large proportion of our country's population are not that much educated to do transaction digitally. So, first of all, we have made them learn this thing then only it can implement completely. Otherwise it's a superb idea.

Congratulations everyone for having very stern noteworthy opinions.

Going cashless is definitely a laudable step by Indian govt Let us just take it as a means of educating our "so called yokel" population which you feel is not sophisticated enough to grasp the know-hows of cashless economy. You tell if not today then when are you going to suggest it? In 2050 by then rest of the world will be way ahead of us to catch upto them. We along with remote area people will be able to transact cash in a flash isn't it so convenient. We can just take it like atms there must have been a time when atms were introduced at that time it was not that appreciable but now even labour workers use it. It will blend in the routine once we accept it. Alright if its credibility is a question you feel its not credible enough then is cash payment secure ?does it not face the heat of corruption? it definitely does, so instead of reverting back its better to adopt a newer system which gives so many benefits like technological advancement, record of all money transfer, reduction in tax theft, no more money laundering through illegal ways, more money in our economy, higher gdp, diminished poverty. Cashless should be welcomed by all for the greater good of our country and its citizens. Its granted that not many have smart phones but cashless will speed up the approach of internet and smart phones In Indian villages. Which otherwise will remain a sluggish process. I don't say it declare it today only but take it step by step and start laying groundwork from today to propel it.

Yes, digital payments are secure enough for Indian economy, I personally in favour of this step as we all know that it is helping to extract out the black money and of course this money is going to be used for some good purpose for India, but if we see the major part of India needs to be educated how to use this digital payment system and after this I think approx after a year it will be fine, come on India lets be digital.

First of all, I would like to salute to our ruling government because India is becoming a develop country. It's a great decision taken by our government. Definitely digital payment is very secure because when we make digital transaction at that time we get OTP from our bank side after putting the OTP you will make payment or you'll make successful transaction. It is very safe and very secure and hassles free from thieves. Earlier it was not like so, but now it is very safe and secure.

I feel like the govt of India should arrange teams to conduct training sessions to atleast one member of the family in every village. And then we can implement digital payments. To make our country developed.
