Here the main advantage by cashless payments is easy and simple to pay bills, by this we can save time and transportation charges. And the main disadvantage is in India most of the people are from rural areas and illiterature they don't know how to use the digital transactions.
Whatever this is the great initiated by the NDA government for the development of Indian economy and development of the Indian county.

Good evening everyone, yes it's good to go cashless to India but at present and on an instant it's not a fair of option to go 100% cashless. As India has a mixed economy and still there are number of people who are not well verged with technologies. India is that country where people easily start trusting others and even gets dependent on others. As we normally see in many of our family only that the old generation people if need money from ATM or even a mobile recharge they depend on us new generation people. But being every new generation people to be fair with other people is hypothetical condition only and same is with learning technology by old or backward generation people.
Even we have heard lots and lots of cyber crime. Going cashless can motivate to such crimes too.
Thus I would say that according to the present scenario cashless is not a secure option.

Hello.
Yes, digital payments are secure unless the transactions are done on safe/government authorised sites. Just like the way we choose centralised banks to keep our money, in the same way we need to wisely choose where on internet are we dealing with our money. If this is done right then going cashless will aid Indian economy.

No, I believe that right now India is not at that stage where we can make our country completely cashless. Digitalisation or the cashless economy is based on the development of particular country and India is developing not completely developed, you can't force or implement development, it come with the time when all people became literate. Forcing before the time is unnatural and create lots of chaos.

Yes, according to my opinion.
Digital payments are secure but we need to take necessary steps against the hacking websites and by creating the awareness campaigns and promoting the user-friendly apps among the illiterates. This will helps to reduce the corruption and tax evasion problems by increasing our countries GDP growth.

I don't think India is yet ready to go cashless since.
> it does not pose enough cyber security infrastructure.
> other reason would be lack of awareness about digital or cashless transaction.
>Indian market majorly constitutes of informal sector which is heavily cash driven.
>possibilities of frauds and virus. RBI recently accepted malware in hitachi switch installed in ATM machines which has infected many debit cards.
>bank of Maharashtra lost 25 crore rupees in biggest upi fraud so far.

Hello,
Yes, according to me, digital payments are secure enough because as we all know our country India is a developing country, so now a days most of the people are aware about the technologies and our government works on cashless scheme in very efficient manner thus security risks are avoided and normal people are capable to do their payments caseless.
So, cashless scheme is very efficient for Indian economy.

According to me, Digital payments are much secure than cash payments in terms of thievery. May be there could be a sense of fear of internet theft. By using digital payments we can avoid black money and corruption because all the sales purchase transactions will go through the banks. We have less probability of counterfeit money. It is fast and reliable and easy to use. Now a days all people are using smartphones so they do not find any difficulties to make digital payments. There are numerous benefits of digital payments.

In my point of view, digital payment is very secure because one thing we all come to know that even after people unaware of digital payment they are trying to do so and in that span they come across the different system.
And there they do learn something about Digital world. After launching the BHIM app many middle-class people became aware of it and they used it even a fruit vendors, vegetable shop and many more they all came across it. About the security nowadays app have many security systems so its quit impossible to do any thing wrong to the digital transaction.
