Yes, I agree that digital payment are more secure for cash less transactions because India is a developing country and this decision taken by our government is a very good initiative against black money holders and corruption, or which also help to increase growth of our country but despite of all these things I also agree with other people who said that going towards cashless create some problem for people who can't afford credit card, debts cards and I'll literate people who can't able to use phones nd etc for all these problems I would like to say one thing that cashless doesn't mean that we completely go cashless or cash money are completely banned its just mean we have to do more transactions digitally to fight against with corruption.

In my point of view, cashless India will be very good because everywhere you can't take money along with us because there is a chance of theft, and if we carry our debit/credit card with us if it is lost then also we are secure that our money is with us. And in case of corruption it is also good because if the person try to give the amount, men's transfer the money in his/her account in large Amount regularly then at some point the respective bank will have doubt then they can also tell the some of the government authorities to take action on it, our else they had been said to do this against that person.

And in the case of the person having the international card then there will not be the problem of exchange of money they can use their card in the foreign easily and many more things are there like if we go for shopping, having dinner at a restaurant we can easily swipe our card to pay our amount. But when it come to the small vendors then there it can face problem but now's a day they are also having App like Paytm and I suppose that in coming five years and so. These problems will also be solved.

Good evening, today our topic is "Are digital payments secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless".

According to me, cashless is one of the best steps against corruption and terrorism. Cashless is a secure way for transaction. We can transfer thousands of money to anywhere in globe in few seconds. And government can keep records of transaction, they can take action on unfair activities. But as we know anything to have good and bad parts. Cashless is good step but though hackers can hack it. They can take money from any accounts to which they hacked.

Mainly people have become habituated to cash transactions. They require time to habituate to cashless. Many people are not educated. They don't know how to use ATM, even some people have no back accounts. So it is a long-term process.

I think digital payment is very secure but in our country, many villages is there. Some of the village people know about bank. They don't have any idea for digital payment. Only some educated people are having the knowledge of digital payment. Majority doesn't have the knowledge about digital payment even they educated. More people not convenient with digital payment.

Hello friends.

I think this policy can be implemented in India because people are eager to learn new technology & new way of doing payment whether they are youth or senior citizen. After demonetization in hotels & restaurants people started using the mobile application like paytm even I didn't use paytm app before that but now I flexible with it in making transaction.

The Government announced a scheme that now people can payment with their Aadhar card so it will also reduce the risk of cyber crime. But as you can see that the device is not available to each & every shopkeeper so how we gonna the payment if it is available we will definitely going to use that. Government got a lot of homework to do regarding in this matter & after that India will definitely become a cashless country.

Yes, digital payment is really a good step taken by Modi's government, though there are many Indians that don't know how to use an internet properly but through this digitalisation step Indian people are trying to learn this internet usage & only the problem is to increase more cyber security to prevent information from hacking.

I think digital payments are good step to improve fake currency, to make developed India go cashless.

1. First of all, govt will have to do educate all people who live in villages because all most people lives in villages.

2. I think govt will have to secure payments bank & other ways to pay the money like that Paytm etc.

Thank you everyone.

Hello friends,

Yes, it is going to boost our economy and it is very much secure to use.

But the problem is that we can not go for it suddenly, it will take time to be fully accessible to every corner of our country.

It is fast, very much secure, easy to use, and record keeping.

We always wish to rule out black money from our society. I think it would be a move of trapping black money transactions instantly.

Our economic sections that is weak are poors, villagers and people who are adamant to change. (plz change your mindset and be flexible).

Poors don't have bank account, ATM and any other card to be used.

They don't know how to use.

And next is connectivity.

Some inclusive plans are under execution to sort out these problems and in near future, we will be like that we wish to see.

According to me, it's a very good decision by PM Modi to make India cashless but we know that 75% of our population are farmers and they don't even know how to use smartphone and an internet so it would be a great difficulty for rural area people to deal with a cashless transaction. This is a country where people are advice to use a toilet instead of going outside and we are trying to directly implement cashless, It's at least not possible now.
