In my opinion, it is not a good move to make India a cashless society. In India, around 600 million people don't have a bank account. Less than 20% Indians have a smartphone. Furthermore many people don't have the access and proper knowledge of how internet works and its features. We all are very well aware of the fact that India had no privacy laws. Every other day we hear new stories of hacking taking place.
India going cashless would be a disaster.

Hai everyone.
Yes, digital payment secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless because of security and riskless job.
As of advantage, there are many disadvantages also. Because 50-60% of people in India don't how to use a smartphone, Moreover these people don't trust on digital payment.
Finally,
This type of ideology and mindset will change when people got educated.
Up to that digital payment to go cashless will remain as a question mark.

In my opinion, I would say yes digital payments are secure enough for the Indian economy to go cashless because in this 21st century if we talk about something really modern definitely we mean to our technology. And digital payment is nothing but a great technology to do money related transactions. This is safe as it provides you with OTP i.e. one-time password that you are told to not to share with anyone. So this makes transaction very safe for use.

Hello according to me, the digital payment would be secure and it also makes a convenient use of transaction but in still India is. A developing country, so 60% of the area is covered by the village and in village people, are illiterate they don't use and fully unaware of all that credit and all of this facility. Soo now the 1st there is a need to provide a special training to use there benefits and disadvantages all of this regarding digital payment.

According to my point, India is going to cashless its good thinking but not only applicable for rural area it's also applicable for urban area. There are many types of problems and causes including it. My first point is urban people are more educated than of rural people. They are not using mobile properly and there is no network facility also it's the big problem to face all rural areas people. When urban people are not literate it's never possible.

Hello Everyone,
According to my opinion, everything has a merit and demerits. The good part with digital payments is that you can save time and also reduce black money. But the sad part with this digital payment is that online transactions may be risky as all people in India are not educated, mainly people from villages would face a lot of problems. So I would like to say that the government should create more awareness about these digital payments.

Today is a modern era we all are converting to new and advanced technology.
All things are good for learning like digital payment, digital transaction and so on.
So we can say that yes digital payment is good for all of us because it's making any work easy and less time.
But before so we should know some basic knowledge about how to do digital transaction it's mandatory and compulsory so we can take more benefits.
Otherwise, we can be in trouble.

I am Feba George, in my opinion, digital payment is better, even thou it has both merits& demerits.
Digital payment reduces the flow of black money. It is necessary to provide better cyber-security to safe our cash from darkers.
The main demerits is that there are so many poor people who don't have any bank account and lack of education about digital life. But it is possible to educate the elders. So it's better to adopt digital payment system.

In my opinion, digital payment is a very good initiative for the Indian economy to go cashless. But there will be many obstacles in this process as many people are not aware of the digital payment especially the rural people. It is necessary to create awareness among people about digital payment and transaction so that they can involve in digital payments. A dream to make India a digital India is very important so that Indian economy can go cashless.

Yes In some manner it's good way through which we don't afraid of fraud people. It's right decision of PM, Modi through which we give proper amount of pay to shopkeeper. Ex when some buy a product of Rs 99. He/she give 100 Rs to shopkeeper. And shopkeeper does not return 1 Rs. So it's loss 1 Rs. According to population of India. If everyone forget to take their Rs back so how much they loss their money. So acc to me digital payment must be in India.
