Are Cricketers to be blamed for Match Fixing?

Yes why not, the cricketers who do match fixing are banned because I think cricket gives every kind of facilities to the cricketers. I think it is bad for cricket, it spoil the cricket alot for that cricketers who do match fixing are responsible and get heavy punishment like ban for a life.

I love cricket a lot and I don't see it at happen so I request the cricketers please don't spoil the cricket just enjoy it and serve for your country without any greediness.

Yes you all might be right cricketers should be blamed for this evil crime. I know and everyone knows this that how much put in it needs to get your faces in TV screen AND people enjoys every glimpse of yours. In fact cricketer are also human beings.

They are not god who cannot commit mistakes. They have learned nothing but the cricket so we can enjoy at our stressed sitting in our AC rooms, watching them playing, jumping like hell and all that. All we need to blame is the system who keep check on spot fixing. They can spot the spot fixing after it happens but can, t stop before the scene. If they can't track the bookies then they should handover there job to someone else. Anyone can be distracted from his job. At Least 1 chance should be provided to them for the sake of so much years of their pain. Yes yet its cricketers who are to be blamed.

Of course those who fixes match are criminals as they did a crime called fraud against audience. But punishment for this should be limited. As fraud is not a very big crime, so player should not be banned for his entire life. Sports is for entertainment and if a person does not follow the rules, he is actually cutting himself from this industry. He definitely pays for his activity whether or not, he is found guilty.

Management should look into the matter with care and stop possibilities of any such activities as it hampers industry but extent of punishment should be limited.

Match fixing is against the spirit of the game. Is just an give up before the start of play. Its the thing done for the money. As players struggle a lot to make their place in the team. Person watching the TV expecting a great game but due to such thing faith & belief on the game will be lost. Maturity of the player must be high while he is representing his own country. Player must be banned who is involved in fixing.

I am very happy that many of the Indian youth is sharing some brilliant ideas which is very necessary as in today's era there are only bad politics going on. Yes according to me match fixing should be banned strictly and players who takes part in match fixing should also be given harsh punishment.

For doing match fixing they can be without playing, because when playing for nation they should be proud enough to be eager than being getting sold to opposite team. When we the audience blindly wasting our time to view the match they are actually making us mad. So they should definite should think of the match fixing A DUAL GAME to be violated earlier.

First of all thanks for creating this topic, because its been a hot topic nowadays. On this day a popular cricket team has been disqualified for their irresponsible match fixing case. Before selecting the players should examined to counsel. They don't have patriotism.

Meanwhile luxury life made them to turn their minds. Only one solution is life ban to play cricket and they have to be sentenced for few years. Selection team have to test their dignity, patriotism and patient.

According to me,every crime must be banned for ever and match fixing one of them.
The player who involved this type of crime ,actually betray with nation and its the shame for nation to the World .ICC should strict about the matter and the player should
be banned forever and punishment should be there.

Match fixing is an heinous offence performed by the players of any team. Be it match fixing or spot fixing, its after effects on the game are devastating and can lead to complete downfall of the game. People watch the match because of the curiosity of what will happen next, it is this sense of curious excitement that attracts and hold them to the game but if this authenticity is lost then it is obvious that the game will soon lose its pride and people's interest. Therefore players involving in such activities must be life banned as such crimes have an everlasting influence on the game's credibility.

Bookies are not the matter. As the bookie approaches the player the player should bang at him. That is the most initial step to be taken by the player if he is truly playing for the (his) country. Players should should not fall into the web of money offered by bookie. If the players devotional towards the game then there will be no raising for bookies, this type of business will not be developed.
