I think match fixing is illegal not crime because for us these cricketers are god but eventually there are humans and humans only do mistake, by saying this it do not mean that I am favouring them. But my point is if we want eradicate this disease we have to cure patient by punishment not by banning them for life.

According to my point of view, in our country cricket is treated as one of spiritual region and their cricket players are considered as god of that region, so if the cricketers would made any match fixing will affect the people's belief about cricket region, so cricketers don't play for money or some other things, they should play for nation with some pride.

For doing match fixing they can be without playing, because when playing for nation they should be proud enough to be eager than being getting sold to opposite team. When we the audience blindly wasting our time to view the match they are actually making us mad. So they should definite should think of the match fixing A DUAL GAME to be violated earlier.

Yes, because Cricket is an addiction for some people who play the game excellently when you are addicted to something like cricket your mind doesn't gets occupied with other negative stuffs there are people who will attract you but we have to control ourselves and concentrate on the upcoming world cup rather then indulging yourself in the match fixing.

In my opinion, the match fixing is not good, The cricketers are enjoying their life in that game they did like that means that is very bad, the BCCI will take the action strictly and those players will not to play in future means that good, why because that is one of the respectable game all Indian people's are mostly seen that game.

I agree with all of you, after gaining so much wealth and fame, these cricketers shouldn't get involved in match- fixing. Obviously Cricketers are blamed, because if they don't encourage these bookies, there will not be any match fixing. And moreover they are allowing illegal flow of black money. So cricketers have to be seriously punished.

I would like oppose on the topic, I would say its the board of cricket of a country who has to be blamed for fixing, take an example of Zimbabwe whose cricketers are not paid sufficient amount of money so that they get attracted towards the dirty minds who are offering them more than 50 times of the income these cricketers earn.

Match-fixing in a cricket match affects many.
Despite of winning the game with skill and patience, some players tend to do match-fixing or spot-fixing. There is nothing gained by winning a match by fixing but great guilt and having to face the after-effects. Anyday winning legally has a great impact on the player's confidence.

Yeah they must be banned. They are there to provide the pride to country and they are representing the country for the sport. While people do like this it affect the sport a lot. For a one person doing like this it affect the entire sport. So should be banned and they also be fined. Because they are doing this only for money.

I totally agree with this topic, from my point of view match fixing should be totally banned. This is the most worst thing players do just for the few money and they are losing their respects. ICC should make special squad for such type of activities show they can be easily be traced.
