Of course Cricketers should be blamed for Match fixing, because they are mature enough to take a decision. They did this match fixing to get so much money in shortcut. But they should be strictly punished for life ban and jail.
In INDIA people follow the game so deeply and this match fixing is one kind of cheating to those people and country. If one person fixing the match entire team have to suffer, because they can't concentrate on their future games and this decrease the level of performance.
RESPECT matters in life so much. So players should think about their performance and image and respect.

One who stands for representing our country's reputation in world i.e. the cricketers, if they have sold their faith to be the money slave then it should be taken strictly. A man who has a huge no.of fans, reputation and also getting sufficient money for serving country so I don't think why they are starving for money.
As conclusion I think BCCI should have an idea at least about what is going on among player, they should form strict punishment for match fixing and cricketers should play for respect and dignity.

Absolutely yes. Matches cannot be fixed without players' consent. It doesn't matter if they are lured or even forced, if they are ready to sacrifice their country over money, they need to be punished.

I would like oppose on the topic, I would say its the board of cricket of a country who has to be blamed for fixing, take an example of Zimbabwe whose cricketers are not paid sufficient amount of money so that they get attracted towards the dirty minds who are offering them more than 50 times of the income these cricketers earn.

Yes, Cricketer's who are the responsible for match fixing. No one can force them to do this shame crime, they are doing this crime for their own happiness and money. Yes they are accused for this crime and they should be punished for this.

I am very happy that many of the Indian youth is sharing some brilliant ideas which is very necessary as in today's era there are only bad politics going on. At least you all are thinking good so it is a very applaused thinking. Keep it up. Yes according to me match fixing should be banned strictly and players who takes part in match fixing should also be given harsh punishment.

According to my point of view, in our country cricket is treated as one of spiritual region and their cricket players are considered as god of that region, so if the cricketers would made any match fixing will affect the people's belief about cricket region, so cricketers don't play for money or some other things, they should play for nation with some pride.

Hello Friends, firstly I agree with the topic that cricketers should be blamed for match fixing. This is because In our nation We have a number of talented persons but their are not getting an opportunity because of the corruption, among them most of them having an ambition to become an cricketer.
So the people who is in cricket field will know what is the right thing to do for nation and if they doing the thing like match-fixing for money they should be punished and they have to be taken out from the cricket field and that opportunity has to given to the next younger generations, so that everyone should have a fear about such a things and this match fixing will also reduce.

Yes cricketers should be blamed for this offensive deed as they play for the dignity of the nation as only few are blessed to represent their country. It is the only game in India which people love and applause the most. Such illegal and shameful acts deteriorate the image of the team and the player. So, in my perception the player must be abashed from the team and must be banished with life ban and enormous charge.

Cricketers are to blame and also not to blame in this situation. Each cricketer must think about the reputation of the country and his family before entering into the world of match fixing. But if they are threatened by the bookies they usually have no choice but to give in. That's what the police and the investigative agencies are there for. They can loge a complain against the bookies but they're too scared to do it because they think too much about what will happen afterwards, not realizing that they will always have the support of the their huge fan following whatever they do - only if it is in the interests of the country, the team and the citizens of the country. I would suggest that the coming generation try to pull out the ills of the society by it's roots to prevent any further humiliation or embarrassment.
