Cricketers are not completely the ones who should be blamed. Yes, they do play a role but we should blame those who use them as puppets in order to do such a thing which is against taking the game as sporting one. As there are people who will pay for such match-fixing to the players more than what they will earn by doing a fair play in cricket they as humans will get attracted to such an offer. But if the cricketers are more honest enough they wouldn't support such an act. So I think both the cricketers as well as the main people behind this illegal act is equally responsible and there is no point of blaming only the cricketers.

Hi, this is Prahlad.

According to my opinion, the BCCI is responsible for match fixing games. Imagine a bookie is allowed to meet players either in dress room or hotels where they are staying. Without knowledge of officials of BCCI how can a bookie can enter into. Please think in that way also.

Hello, I believe cricketers are not to be blamed for match fixing even though they are on the wrong side because despite cricketers having enough security and being continuously covered by media, bookies are able to approach the players and negotiate with them. According to me, the higher officials may be participating in this activity from the back end and maybe players are threatened by them and leaving no option for the players.

According to me, everyone from a match fixing driver (bookie) to the cricketers, team officials and even refrees, who involve themselves in these fixing practices should be blamed.

But cricketers should be blamed first because they are the only and only acting members of the game, they had to play and if they do not get involved then nothing can be prefixed and these activities will turn towards abolishing stage but sometimes as we have seen that cricketers do not even report about the officials or other team members involved even if they know the facts and therefore they should be blamed.

Yes, to a larger extent cricketers are to be blamed for match fixing and the same time the committee managing these players should not be spared.

These cricketers if they give their best on the field will surely get individual and team success and money will flow, at the same time they will be revered. Despite knowing all these, they involve themselves in these malpractices keeping aside their ethics and values and end up losing their career.

At the same time, the management should realise that these cricketers are on national duty and they should abide by the rules and stay within the discipline, at least when they are on duty. They should make sure the cricketers don`t meet anyone other than their family, team, and staffs when on duty.

Definitely! Because of their ruthless desire and self greed they sold their nation's dignity. They ruin millions of people trust. They should deserve more than blame.

It is not only cricketers who are involved in match-fixing but also team owners. In IPL, major match-fixing cases are imposed on political parties, actors and businessmen owning a team. Sometimes, an even coach is involved in match fixing.

Hey, guys thanks for providing your good thaughts.

According to my view match fixing should be completely banned as it affects the culture of cricket as well as it degrades the value of cricket. Match-fixing has become a source of income and entertainment for fixers. A good player plays for their nations as well as for their passion but due to match fixing good players fail to show their patriotism. It should be completely banned and people who die this practice should be sent to jail and the players involved in this should be punished so no one can think over it again. Before the selection of new players, they should undergo with some skill test which involves their patience their loyalty and the true sportsmanship.

Cricket is the most liked and popular game after football. The players playing in the team selected based on their hard work and their passion for the cricket should remain forever. If Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli plays only for money then they don't have records for Indian Cricket team. The Fixing is only from the dealers who vanishing the player with their weak points as their strength. If the dealers are eradicated then the fixing is not a matter at all.

Hi friend this is Rohit, before I go for some conclusion of the given topic, I want to say that we all know India has a huge population so definitely the people who reach to a stage where they are called cricketer is tough and challenging. There is no doubt they have quality and they are the real property of country.

If they involve in such type of thing like match fixing definitely BCCI should take step against the player but it will not be ultimate solution. We have to find the real root of the problem like some people who is spreading it catch them than it will come to an end.
