At the end of the day quality of your product matters if it is good and price is less, no need of advertisement. Instead of investing in ads these guys should invest in product.

I think all above thinking is biased, but as per my views, advertisements have really cheated the people by giving unusual advertisement of product today's generation knows each and everything that they advertise and they think that people don't know. What they sell and what they really show In this world everyone aware. I think fake advertisements never get success so. It should be banned and real advertisement of products only switched and telecast.

Hi, I am Nistha Sharma from Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal.

According to me, what I feel is I don't think advertisement should be banned because there are many aspects through which people are benefited. Firstly the unemployment rate decreases and they can easily maintain their living standard, similarly, it acts as the medium of communication between a company and the company masses. Likewise, we can also be familiar with varieties of commodities with the help of advertisement. Apart from that it also helps us to aware the people through various aspects like eradication of polio, aid awareness, creating varieties of awareness by discouraging bribes. So because of this reason what I think I advertisement shouldn't be banned. I extremely agree every thing has its merits and demerits similarly this advertisement also has demerits but besides its demerits, it has tons and tons of merits which can easily cover the demerits of it so what I personally feel is advertisement should not be banned rather it should be done in a wise and in a systematic manner. Thank You!

In my view, an advertisement not forced to by the product. It helps know about the product, knowledge and availability. The customer can make choice to buy the product.

No, I don't think that advertisement should be banned because through advertisement we get all the things that we need and we have an option that we want this add or not if adds were banned so we facing many problems. And it's also a good platform through which we easily sell our products. And gets good on also.

Hello, friends.

Well, in my opinion, advertisements do cheat people in Many cases like.

1. Advertisements of beauty products like fair n lovely etc. By seeing these ads people spend millions to get fairer.

2. Advertisements help in promoting colour discrimination which is very bad.

3. Some advertisements are very bold like ads of condoms n deodorant that they may affect children badly.

4. Many people get easily manipulated by watching big movie stars doing the ad of some particular thing n buy them without knowing much about the products.

I think only those ads should be shown on TV which is really gd for the people n should not manipulate common Man by using the support of big film stars.

I think advertisements are really helpful for promoting any plans, schemes, and awareness (as Modi Government is doing), since, in villages, television is the only medium through which we can communicate to a mass folk. No issues of banning such ads.

But at the same time as every thing has its pros and cons,

Guys, if you have ever seen, that many ads based on cosmetics, deodorants, daily products show a lot of things exaggeratedly and they also display their demerits/side effects (ex:- ad showing someone smoking/drinking) in a very very small font at the bottom of the television screen, and we people can't able to read them, and hence we remain unaware of that.

So I would suggest that if they truly display the pros n cons of the product in ads, advertisements will really prove to be beneficial and should not be banned.
