Maximum distance = speed * time
= 300 * (6+5)
= 300 * 11
= 3300 m
= 3.3 km
Minimum distance = speed * time
= 300 * (6-5)
= 300 * 1
= 300 m
= 0.3 km
= 300 * (6+5)
= 300 * 11
= 3300 m
= 3.3 km
Minimum distance = speed * time
= 300 * (6-5)
= 300 * 1
= 300 m
= 0.3 km

DISTANCE = SPEED * TIME TAKEN
d1=300*5=1500
d2=300*6=1800
maximum distance=d1+d2
=1500+1800
=3300 metres=3.3km
minimum distance=d2-d1
=1800-1500
=300 metres=0.3km
d1=300*5=1500
d2=300*6=1800
maximum distance=d1+d2
=1500+1800
=3300 metres=3.3km
minimum distance=d2-d1
=1800-1500
=300 metres=0.3km

Use the formula DISTANCE = SPEED * TIME TAKEN.
For MAX add both & for MIN sub both.
For MAX add both & for MIN sub both.

Time difference of 2 persons is 1sec, it means distance between them is 300 m which is 3.3km, so option D is correct.
