Sovereignty is the full right and power of a governing body over itself, without any interference from outside sources or bodies.

According to me, the answer is D because here the constitution is supreme and according to it the laws are framed and actions are taken through here the situation is considered as possible then its correct because in constitution sovereign, secular, democratic, republic all are written in the constitution.

I don't understand option C. Please someone explain it.

Like if any law or act is passed in parliament then the supreme court has the power to declare them as null and void if they're against the constitution eg: Fundamental rights.

The Parliament of India cannot be regarded as a sovereign body because it can legislate only on subjects entrusted to the Centre by the Constitution, it has to operate within the limits prescribed by the Constitution, and the Supreme Court can declare laws passed by parliament as unconstitutional if they contravene the provisions of the Constitution.
