Sovereignty means after independence India is free to follow any kind of policy. No outside power can interfere in the internal affairs of our country.

According to me, here sovereign means supreme, and as a matter of fact the constitution alone has the supreme power for the parliament and on itself.

I am not satisfied to this answer.I think that this answer is wrong. Because in India parliament is supreme and so there is sovereignty in India

What yuvraj said is correct. As India is democratic. The powers and laws are distributed. So only parliment cannot be considered as soverign.

Here sovereign stands for. Free to take decisions in his internal matters. No outside body cam implement anything. As simple as that.

Answer D is correct since soveignity assumes multi-facet independence which is covered in all the three above answers.
