Jahangir was a good writer and loved nature. Jahangir recorded detailed description about wildlife in his autobiography. Jahangir admired paintings and collected them in his palace. Many of them survived and are found in museums around the world.

Babar wrote Baburnama. After that Abdul rahim khankhana khana translate done farsi language. In Jahangir period was golden period of literature. Jahangir wrote own life story title of Tujuke-jahangiri.

Babar & Jahangir wrote their own biography as tujuk e babari, it was translated in Farsi as babarnama by Abdul Rabin Khankhana & tujuk e jahangiri.
