Tropic of cancer -> 23*0.5 degree North, Pass-through 8 Indian states. Those are Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Chattisgarh, Odisha, WB, Tripura, and Mizoram.

Kanyakumari is in the south of the tropic of cancer as well as north of the equator.

Southern most point of India including islands is Indira point. 6*45 Degree North of equator.
