How come it's 35%?, I think it should be 65%. Because most of the land is acquired by villagers and the they live with the help of irrigation land.

If most of land must be irrigated India's production of corps will be quite high. So I think it's 35%.

Our irrigation system not so effective than other countries, there are some reason below-corruption, our system, different type of surface, inequality of raining etc.

The Agricultural irrigated land (% of total agricultural land) in India was reported at 34.66 in 2008, according to the World Bank. Agricultural irrigated land refers to agricultural areas purposely provided with water, including land irrigated by controlled flooding.
