Pencil led, if you crush it it can easily crushed where as if you want to crush diamond you can't crush it easily. So we can say diamond is hardest in comparison to graphite.

Dear vinesh,

Diamond has strong covalent bonds (c-bond) but graphite has very weak c-bond & double layer of graphite with weak c-bond make it weakest from others.

Eg: Pencil led, if you crush it it can easily crushed where as if you want to crush diamond you can't crush it easily.
