Iron is positively charged i.e. +2 and tin is negatively charged.

Zn is better reducing agent than ordinary hydrogen. Hence pure Zn is not effected by moisture. So as it protect Fe from corrosion.

Zn is corrosion resistant. So it won't get rusted and it protects the underneath iron form rusting by cutting its exposure to moisture and atmospheric air.

To protect iron from getting rusted, the coat of zinc is applied on it. This process is called galvanization.

Zinc is corosion resistent so applied over iron to protect it from corosion.

Zinc is used in galvanisation as a coating on other metals which get corroded easily; as zinc is resistant to corrosion it is coated on metals to make it resistant to corrosion.

Zinc is highly electro-negative than iron, so it it used to protect the rusting of iron. Which is nothing but galvanization.

Galvanization (or galvanisation) is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, in order to prevent rusting.
