Because of its low density.

Since it is lighter than air.

To make balloon lighter, the gas inside should be lighter than air. As nitrogen is available 78% in the air, but it is not lighter. In case of oxygen, it is highly inflammable, so it cannot be used in balloon as safety precautions. Helium is the lightest gas in the atmosphere.

Perhaps the lightest and inert gas. Hydrogen is more lighter but readily flamable. We want the baloon to raise but not to burst and burn. So choice is helium.

Well, helium is a lighter and inflammable (non combustible) gas, hence used in filling the air balloons.

This question should say "Floating balloons are filled with", if its just "balloons" it can be filled with anything.

ya and also we don't want our kids crying in case the balloon bursts or is set on fire party will stop there itself only.

So helium is a safer option.
Its also an inert and a noble gas.

It is odourless, colourless, monatomic gas with very low chemical reactivity.

The six noble gases that occur naturally are:

Helium (He), neon (Ne), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe), and the radioactive radon (Rn).

Helium is lighter than air and it's used to make the balloon float.

Because helium never gets fire and it can fly easily.

"Balloons cane be filled with any Air".

Here, You want to specify it as "Floating Balloons".
