Mercury has weight 200.59, lead is 207.1, silver is 108 but lithium is 6.9. So lithium is correct.

Lithium has less atomic mass than any other metal, i.e. 6.9. Therefore it is lightest metal.

Lithium is a S block element in the periodic table. Its atomic no. is less hence ionization energy is less. So it it lighter metal.

Thats why we employ lithium in batteries, which would be otherwise heavy and carriable only by donkies.
