Zinc, Iron and Calcium are above hydrogen in the electrochemical series except silver which is below it. Arrangement is (K, Na, Ca, Mg, Al, Zn, Fe, Sn, Pb, "H", Cu, Hg, "Ag", Au.

Silver is below hydrogen in the activity series, and therefore silver metal does not react with H+ to produce silver ions and hydrogen gas.

Among them, all silver is a strong reducing agent so, on treatment with HCL it won't give H2.

But Again after reacting with HCl give AgCl ppt Nd H2 gas.

Ag+ HCl ---> AgCl + H2.

Because Argon is inert gas and does not react with metals to produce H+ ions.

By depending upon reactivity series argon is more reactive than hydrogen.

Because all others are above silver in the electrochemical series.

This question is base on property of electrochemical series.
