Generally plastic is classified as thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic. Here thermoset plastic fuses on heating into a solid like structure and is not recyclable. Example : Bakelite (used for making switch board's).
Where's thermoplastic turns into liquid on heating.

Thermoplastic polymers can be reshaped by heating. So it is not deformed permanently. On the other hand thermosetting plastic has a cross linkage structure, so they cannot be reshaped once moulded.
So correct answer is themosetting plastic.
So correct answer is themosetting plastic.

The thermoset polymers are highly cross linked polymer. So when it heated it cross link become damage or destroyed permanently so it cannot reform again.

Thermoset is more affected by heat. So their cross linkage was breaking after heating. So it does not rearrange to form the new one.

Can some one explain beta cos? I think that thermoset cannot be reshaped or remolded so why thermoset?
