Pollination is the process of transferring pollen grains from anther to stigma of the flower. If the pollen grains of a flower is transferred to the stigma of the same flower, then it is called self-pollination. If the pollen grain of a flower is transferred to the stigma of another flower of the same species of the plant then it is called cross-pollination.
