The regulation of calcium is done by hormone namely calcitonin secreted from the thyroid gland and parathormone from parathyroid gland. In which calcitonin reduces the calcium level in the blood whereas parathormone increases the calcium level. Due to the deficiency of parathormone, disease Tetany occurs.
So, bones have no significance in the regulation of calcium level in our body.

The most significant advantage of bone is for hormone releasment means by helping calcium for its strengthen bones also used for helping structural parts of the body in which they also have great significance. It also heals a leaky gut. The gelatin in bone broth protects and heals the mucosal lining of the digestive tract and helps aid in the digestion of nutrients.

Secretion is the process of elaborating, releasing, and oozing chemicals, or a secreted chemical substance from a cell or gland. (wikipedia) and bones do not secrete chemicals. They produce cells (red & white blood cells) but do not generate nor separate juices or chemicals from the cells.

Bone don't secrete the hormones. Hormones secrete only by pituitary, thyroid, pancreas (mixed gland). Pituitary gland is master of gland. It is located in the brain.
