Battery is represented with 2 parallel bars where longer bar represents +ve potential and shorter bar represents -ve potential. It must be positive at one end and negative on other end.

Can you anybody tell - What is difference between Answer B & D ?

Anusha said:   1 decade ago
B is the symbol of battery while C is the symbol of capacitor in which length of both bar remains equal.

Arun said:   1 decade ago
I agree Anusha But, in case of Capacitor both line should equal but in case of battery length of both line should not be equal.

Answer is b and the difference between battery (b) and capacitor (D).

Battery is just supply voltage we know DC. But coming to capacitor it is device to charge and discharge general it is application of battery.
