Current and Voltage have a proportional relationship. If one goes up or down in a circuit, the other goes up or down as well.

Current and Resistance have an inverse relationship. If one of these goes up, the other goes down, and vice versa.

Because V=IR, voltage is directly proportional to current & resistance.

So if current is half, voltage also half (i=v/r).
