If Vout = 6v then ans is 7mA.
If Vz(zener voltage) is 6v then answer is 19mA.
Terminal 1 is +ve and terminal 2 is -ve.
If Vz(zener voltage) is 6v then answer is 19mA.
Terminal 1 is +ve and terminal 2 is -ve.

By applying KVL rule.
V = IR.
-13 + 1000I+ 6 = 0,
I = 7/1000 = 7 mA.
V = IR.
